Chang Bar — Restaurant in Krabi Province

It's an over crowded ugly bar with mid range prices that doesn't fit to it. The place is so over crowded that they had to fit strangers on the same table but it doesn't matter anyway because you can't even hear yourself think. They have the worst audio systems (ear ripping) with the most cheesy remixes of the worst teenage top charts songs (not even new ones) played by no dj, There was no dance floor, nobody is dancing, and nothing fits together in this place. I order a hookah and was so patient to wait and finally got after 30 minutes. The waiter kept looking around for a hookah cause they don't have enough to serve the customers and in 30 minutes he decided to come to me and said that my hookah is "finish". I couldn't hear him clearly but he took it or stole it anyway. I thought he was gonna fix something with and bring it back and after waiting for another 20 minutes I went to the bar and asked about it and they told me the same thing "finish" and "you order again". I got angry and they didn't hesitate to fight me. They literally wanted a fight. It's worth mentioning that I paid 400 bhat for that hookah and gave that rude waiter a 100 bhat of tip for...

My experience at Chang Bar was profoundly shocking and revolting. I witnessed blatant and repugnant discrimination against Indians at the establishment. Not only were my Indian friends denied entry, but they were also subjected to an additional fee of 500 Baht exclusively because of their nationality. When confronted, they did not attempt to disguise their discriminatory conduct.

While individuals of other nationalities were freely admitted, my Indian friends were systematically turned away. I myself entered without being questioned, only to witness my friends being discriminated against one by one.

When I questioned this discrimination, no action was taken to address this injustice.

I am deeply disappointed and outraged by Chang Bar. It is unacceptable for a venue to continue operating under such outrageous and discriminatory policies.

It is a place where the staff are extremely unprofessional and discriminatory towards individuals. It is my sincere hope that establishments like this are eradicated and replaced with genuinely inclusive and...

This place would be cool if the guys outside didn’t harass everyone that walked in. Each of these guys represent a different bar inside. Because of that, said bars will charge you more. It’s a shame because most people that walk in want to sit and buy a drink but they are so aggressive that they walk out.

Now here’s the kicker of it all…they don’t even serve Chang beer. Like what?

I walked in, told them to blow off, sat down at the bar with the cheapest drinks and watched them harass people left and right. Possible that since its slow season they are so desperate for business that they will do whatever it takes including

I sat down at smile bar with view of the street and dance floor. They served me large local beers for 100-120. Don’t be food sheeple!
