Kiran Kitchen Restaurant - Ao Nang Beach — Restaurant in Krabi Province

We looked on Google maps for the reviews of this place, and on google it seemed very good. When we got there we were greeted by some people, giving us very cheap prices which are lower than at most restaurants in Ao Nang! I thought wow maybe we found a gem, but when the food came we were confused, because the spaghetti carbonara had absolutely nothing to do with pasta, the taste was very sweet and it even had mushrooms. (the egg and the spaghetti were probably the closest things to a carbonara, but the other ingridients were bad) We ate good but also bad pasta’s but I never thought that I would feel sick after eating them… And I had Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan and a failed biryani rice, which from the texture was more like risotto. But also the Chicken tikka masala wasn’t very flavorful as in the souce there were big chunks of onions and garlic which made it less pleasing while eating. I mean come on, haven’t you heard of a blender, I know that a blender isn’t used for Chicken tikka masala, but maybe like that it would have been enjoyable. A Disappointing Dining Experience at Kiran Kitchen Restaurant.

I visited this restaurant with high expectations, given its 4.7 rating. Unfortunately, the experience was a huge letdown, the food failed to meet even basic standards.

The most disappointing aspect was the excessive use of food coloring in nearly every dish. Not only did this give the food an artificial appearance, but it also raised concerns about the quality and authenticity of the ingredients. It felt like they were more focused on presentation than on serving fresh, flavorful food.

The low point of the meal was the beef patty club sandwich. The patty was cold, undercooked, and shockingly sweet. A club sandwich should be a reliable choice, but this one was nearly inedible. The combination of the cold, undercooked patty and the unexpected sweetness made it a bizarre and unpleasant dish.

Given the substandard food, I was surprised by the exorbitant prices. I wouldn’t mind paying a premium for excellent food, but this experience was far from it. I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially at these prices. There are far better options in the area that offer much better...

Just had some amazing food here! Usually i go for a Rogan Josh but decided to switch it up and had a Lamb Tawa and it was exceptional! I think its my new favorite dish! It comes out on an oven hot griddle, sizzling away and just smells and sounds incredible. I asked for it medium hot and that was plenty hot enough for me, but I'm sure they could tailor it hotter or milder as needed. Whatever spiciness you go for you wont be disappointed. Its best to order a side with it, so I got garlic nann and that was also really good. Like probably the best nann I've ever had too, just absolutely loaded with garlic and butter, but still risen and soft, with just the right amount of crisp - perfect!

The waiters spoke good english, they offered us happy hour cocktail prices and were GENEROUS with the spirits so we had a couple!

Fully recommend this place! Only here for 3 days, but will def go back! We just came back again for more food and same again, incredible food and excellent staff always happy to serve whatever needed. Will always recommend this place to any of my friends coming to...
