Worst hotel experience ever. Shabby rooms and broken shower cubicle. Balcony door doesn’t shut completely. Rude staff. No bell boys to carry luggage. We had to carry the luggage from the room ourselves as the receptionist told us that bell boys had not reached by 9.30 am.
The hotel tourist desk booked us for a ferry to phi phi islands for 11 am. The vehicle was supposed to take us from the hotel to the pier at 9.40. We waited at the lobby for 1.35 hours from 9.35 before the vehicle came at 11.10. The tourist desk kept convincing us that the ferry would be waiting for us. And that the vehicle was late since some other guests had delayed. However, when the vehicle finally arrived, it was empty.
We repeatedly asked for a taxi to send us to the pier but we were assure that it was their responsibility to put us on the 11 am ferry.
We finally reached the pier at 11.25 only to find out that no such ferry for 11 am exists. The ferry was at 10.30.
Lying cheating scoundrels.
How does a hotel tourist desk book you on a ferry that doesn’t exist?!
We actually paid 30% more for the 11 Am ferry which actually doesn’t even exist.
Now we are supposed to board the ferry at 1.30 pm.
We wasted 5 hours in this entire process. Losing valuable time to do more activities and enjoy our vacation. Instead, I am cursing the Ban...
Read moreTheir hotel crew were not friendly and helpful when there were problems with our hotel pick up. There was a 5-10 min blackout on the night we came. Water wasn't running on our 3rd day. But they got it back on within 5-10 minutes. Swimming pool has a charge of 100 baht per person. We were told that we'll have a bathtub but when asked upon it they didn't do anything or provided a proper reply. It gets quite eerie once the sun sets with the lack of lighting. Our room being in building 3, level 2 makes us rush back every night. The room lock is the old, manual lock and key which is quite difficult to unlock. From inside, there's no peephole and only has a latch which may not be quite safe. One of the plus point would be that the hotel is on the main road to Ao Nang beach thus its easy to get to places. Food, souvenirs, bookings for tours, massages and money changers are all within a 5 minute walk. They have a free of charge luggage room to keep your luggage there after you check out and you still have time to kill. There's towels and slippers you can use for your visit to the beach. Has water heater, coffee and tea, hair...
Read moreNot just a bad experience, but you have to do to people poorly educated persons, arrogant and dishonest. This is also the general atmosphere here.||They also indicate understood taxi service, you can forget it and the room service, it's just flashy to charm you.||They speak very little English, this is really disappointing at what level they are and do not make any effort to improve!||The Internet connection is charged as an expense at the end of the month.||But in fact, you have more than a random, it is constantly interrupted, and this for a week to 10 days, although you pay!||Even if you ask them every day to give you the connections, they answer is yes, but in fact it is a lie again to have peace!||When you tell them they have an obligation and duty to give you internet, they even extreme arrogance to tell you to go elsewhere to rent in a place where there is the connection every day!||It really is the height of dishonesty!||You have to be ignorant fools to match such an attitude, especially when the economy is not the best right now!||A beautiful own goal !!!...
