We live in Ao Nang for one month, and we went often on the chilling bar. The first night that we end up in the bar/restaurant we were immediately impressed of the welcoming and warmness owner and staff. I highly recommended to go there for a gin tonic or a beers but also to snack or eat a proper meal. The bar/restaurant is open until late and they always serve food. We tried different dishes, like hamburgers or thai food. I wouldn’t never image but the thai food it’s just amazing. Two people of our group are veg and the staff was always available to make changes for us in the menu - if you are vegetarian or vegan you should ask for a veg burger - it was really delicious. And what else, we played often with the owner with the pool table and he is invincible. So if you are good, I suggest to try to beat him :) Last but not least, thank you so much Tony and all your staff. Hopefully we will visit you again one day.

Owner is SO kind and lovely. Only friendly banter and a very welcoming vibe. We skeptically ordered a burger plate & fish/chips. DUDE! They were crazy delicious. Fresh local battered fish, homemade tartar, the fries were perfectly cooked, handmade burger patty just melted in hubby’s mouth! Made these Canadians a bit homesick actually LOL! Sweets beats and a pool table round out this fun and relaxed energy. Everything was perfect.

What can I say about this place. Could not be more welcoming, owner Tony always has a smile on his face as do all his staff. Food is out of this world, I have eaten here a few times over the last week. Drinks and food all fairly priced. Tony even provides a free Tuk Tuk into Ao Nang Town centre. There is also a great pool table in the bar. Fans always on so a great place to relax even in the heat

Came here just for dinner and first thing I was greeted with was a warm welcoming hug from the owner! I have never felt so welcomed in a restaurant before and I live in Canada we are the nicest people around! That is until I came to this restaurant. I had the ribs and the ribs were so freaking good and I decided I wanted mash potatoes instead of the chips it came with only because we had the chips as an appetizer! The mash was so delicious! And the chips (fries) were absolutely perfect homemade probably the best fries I have had on my entire 5 week trip in Thailand! And the chicken wings idk about you but I love me a bqq chicken wings and these chicken wings absolutely hit the spot! I have so much to say about this place! It’s 100% recommended in my books the owner is by far the best and most welcoming ever!! Please come if you haven’t...

I spent 12 days from October 5th 2024 in Ao Nang with friends and visited the Chilling Bar several times. This place is perfect starting, ending or even spending the whole nite there.

The owner, Tony, is such a great friendly host and also a mention to Bie who was a great staff member.

There was also great entertainment including a.pool table, darts, Connect 4 and the music as the Bar name suggests puts you in a great happy chillled vibe for the whole evening.

On our first nite of arrival we didnt arrive in the bar until 11pm and we were still served some delicious food, and then settled down to some Sky.Sports and watched the Everton v Newcastle game live.
