The atmosphere is nice, lots of foreigners visit this place but not crowded since they have two restaurants opposite each other. There is no VAT or service charge and the price is affordable. We ordered 3 dishes with coke: Fried rice with egg and garlic (70baht/small size): but not to worry, two people can eat since the rice is compressed haha. Green curry with chicken (130baht/small size): but it’s still a lot, I mean all small size dish can be eaten by two. And there was no curry powder, they use ingredients and coconut milk to keep the smell good. You should try this for dinner, it can make your belly warm haha. Pad Thai with Koong (95baht/no spicy): actually you can ask for the spicy level or season it with the seasoning cup. Koong means shrimp and there are 3 shrimps on the dish. Quite a lot since we share food with each other so we can enjoy all of them. The noodles is perfect for pad thai, I mean its sticky level and season level are...
Read moreHidden Gem This restaurant, tucked away in a quiet alley, is one of the best I’ve visited in Thailand. It offers authentic Thai flavors, good quality, and fair prices.
The Tom Yum Goong was absolutely delicious — 10/10. The fried rice with shrimp was excellent — 10/10. The egg and vegetable toast was super tasty — 10/10. The papaya salad was refreshing and flavorful — 10/10. The crispy fried chicken wings were amazing — 10/10.
On the downside, the Massaman curry with beef and potatoes wasn’t very good — 4/10. The deep-fried shrimp had too much batter and felt heavy — 5/10.
Overall, it’s a great restaurant that I highly recommend. The dishes are available in three sizes: small, medium, and large. A small size is perfect for one person, and you can enjoy a full meal with good quality at a reasonable price.
They also offer a nice selection of Thai beers. Definitely visit this place — I call it a real...
Read moreI'm staying at Ao Nang Guesthouse which is literally next door and the owner is good friends with the team who run this restaurant.
The food is really delicious. Honestly the best Thai food I've had in Thailand and anywhere else! I had the red fried curry with tofu, morning glory and brown rice. Absolutely loved every bit of it. The staff are really welcoming, warm and friendly ☺️
The location of this place is tucked away some what and I only managed to know about it by staying at Ao Nang Guesthouse. I'm sad I didn't eat here more times before I leave Thailand but I'll be back for sure the next time I'm on Ao Nang!
Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available with a small menu catered for western style dishes like sandwiches etc.
Thank you for making my last meal in Thailand an...
