Omg this place is heaven on Phi Phi. I only had a smoothie and a dessert after eating at Garlic 1992 that I was not happy with. I originally wanted to order their red curry to show my girlfriend what it should really be like. But then after reading the menu, I changed my mind. I had to try their pancakes and decided in the chocolate chip and coconut pancakes with caramel coconut sauce and vanilla ice cream. It was to die for. The smoothie was the best I've had in Thailand. It is very small but has indoor and enclosed seating with air conditioning which was really nice, as well as some outdoor seating. The menu is relatively small as well, but I saw what others were eating and what they do, they do very, very well. It's like a culinary Oasis set in amongst 100s of cafes, restaurants and bars that all totally suck in comparison. Lastly, give them a 6th star for having the professionalism to serve their food WITH REAL DINNER NAPKINS. You don't know how tired I am of trying to clean my hands with little pieces of tissue paper. Kudos to Aroy Kaffeine. Yep, they're more expensive but they are proper and what should always be served with a meal. I am eating dinner there tonight. Then breakfast tomorrow morning. Then lunch and dinner again before I leave. I guarantee you this place won't be small much longer as it already would make more money if it expanded. It will soon enough. Edit:. Have now had the red curry, bread with pesto and cheese appetizer, shrimp quesadilla, amazing beer, cappuccino and ice cream. ALL exquisite!! Do yourself a favor...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I visited Phi Phi for the first time and stumbled upon this charming cafe that quickly became a highlight of our trip. The cafe had a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, and the owner was incredibly welcoming, offering great advice and the best ways to enjoy our time on the island.
Everything we tried was made to order and tasted exceptionally fresh. The menu offered a delightful mix of sweet and savory dishes, all crafted with meticulously sourced ingredients. Some of my personal favorites were the açaí smoothie bowl with JaJa's homemade granola, Golden Latte (which I loved so much that I bought some to take home), and the simple egg breakfast—especially the sourdough, which was outstanding. My boyfriend particularly enjoyed the caramelized banana & nutella pancakes, as well as the pesto quesadilla.
Since bringing the golden latte supplement home, I’ve noticed it helps keep me focused and reduces brain fog, making it a wonderful addition to my routine. Overall, the combination of excellent food, friendly service, and the cafe's laid-back vibes made for a truly memorable...
Read moreMy FAVOURITE breakfast spot on Koh Phi Phi! The Lost in Paradise smoothie bowl and the vegan caramelized banana pancakes were INCREDIBLE. And the coffee was the BEST we’ve had since arriving in Thailand! But above all, meeting Jaru, the owner of JaJa, made the cafe that much more special. The kindest, most helpful, lovely soul. She spent ages chatting and suggesting places to go & things to see for our continued travels. And you can truly see the true time & effort she puts into preparing every plate and drink. The food isn’t “fast”, so come with time to spend. You wouldn’t want to race through being at JaJa anyway - you’ll want to linger longer and enjoy every bite and chat to those sitting near you. Say hello to Jar too - she’s a wealth of knowledge & suggestions. You have created such a wonderful space Jar - thank you for sharing your...
