Must visit! This is a small family run restaurant which I stumbled upon. They have 2 outlets facing each other. One is completely vegan & vegetarian while the other one serves non vegetarian food as well. I spoke to the owner, Ms. Dow, and she mentioned that they were very thoughtful about consciously keeping the kitchens separate. MS Dow, her husband and daughter run the 2 restaurants. You can find them taking orders and cleaning tables, running their business with dedication and zero fuss. For the veg restaurant, they took over an erstwhile book store. Conscious to not destroy or throw away books, they made it a part of their wall decor. The books are neatly stacked wrapped in plastic covers. During my conversation, Ms Dow mentioned that during Covid there was less business and she used the time to wrap books in plastic to extend their life. Ambience is cozy, service is quick, pricing is value for money and taste is pretty good. I really enjoyed my outing here. I would strongly recommend this place for anyone on Phi Phi island.

Do not hesitate to go here, you might think the menu is too extensive for the food to be actually good, but the food is DELICIOUS! Best vegan meal I have had in all of Thailand❤️ Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Service is quick and easy. They have mock meats, mock seafood, vegan cheese and vegan mayonaise as well. We ordered Thai food, which looks like their best options. We had the coconut red curry with fake prawns, we had fried rice with fake chicken and the flat noodles with gravy sauce, tofu and vegetable (soup like hor fan). We also had fried wontons on the side. For drinks we ordered a strawberry smoothie and mango smoothie. Very affordable pricing! Cost cafe with cute interior, the walls and ceiling are covered in books. Also the cafe across from it has a non-vegan menu from which you can also order! Wish we came here many more times!! We had breakfast there as well, I had a poke bowl which was delicious, fast and cheap. The passion fruit smoothie was also great. Thank you Dow!! You made us happy❤️

I visited the Dow vegan/vegetarian restaurant twice during my Phi Phi stay – once for breakfast and again for lunch. This place is impressively well-organized. They have got photos of most of their dishes on the wall and each item on the menu is numbered. When you order, they just jot down the number – no room for mix-ups. I gave their Tofu burger, deep-fried potato burger, Hummus & Pita bread with falafel, and Tomato spaghetti pasta a try. I must say, all of it was pretty darn delicious, and they didn't keep me waiting long. The prices seemed reasonable too. The flavors were spot on. Now, there was one thing that made me slightly skeptical. They assured me that the mayo with the burger was vegan, but I couldn't help but wonder if it had some egg in it, judging by the taste and thickness. They do consider eggs as vegetarian here, so that might explain it. In any case, I'd definitely recommend swinging by this place while in Phi Phi.

Vegan Haven on Phi Phi Island with Authentic Thai FlavorsI recently had the pleasure of dining at Dow Vegetarian Vegan Restaurant on Phi Phi Island, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant, nestled in the heart of this tropical paradise, offers a diverse menu of delicious vegan dishes, including all your favorite Thai classics with a tofu twist. The ambiance is serene, with a laid-back island vibe that complements the natural beauty of Phi Phi. The staff at Dow are not only friendly but also knowledgeable about their vegan offerings, providing excellent recommendations based on dietary preferences. Now, onto the food – each dish was a masterpiece of flavors. From fresh salads bursting with local produce to flavorful Thai-inspired vegan curries, Dow exceeded my expectations. What impressed me even more was the incorporation of tofu into traditional Thai dishes, adding a delightful texture and protein-rich element to familiar flavors. The attention to detail in crafting these dishes is evident, and it's clear that the chefs are passionate about creating a memorable dining experience. What sets Dow apart is its commitment to sustainability. The ingredients are sourced locally, and the restaurant strives to minimize its environmental impact, making it a choice that aligns with conscious dining.Whether you're a committed vegan or just looking to explore plant-based options, Dow Vegetarian Vegan Restaurant is a must-visit on Phi Phi Island. It not only caters to the growing demand for vegan cuisine but does so with flair, offering a culinary journey that celebrates the richness of plant-based ingredients, combined seamlessly with the authentic flavors of traditional Thai dishes. I left Dow feeling not only satisfied but also inspired by the creativity and dedication evident in every aspect of this...
