Seriously!!Good rating to this thief house!! Please don’t even consider going to this restaurant U will ruin your phi phi experience.. I feel compelled to write a review about this restaurant..especially the manager..who is a dishonest and shameless brat Doesn’t know how to treat guests..n doesn’t have the courtesy to accept his mistakes..I had a mosquito in my food and this chap was so unwilling to accept it..he cooked my padthai under two White lights light n thus it was quite possible that flies can come in the food..when i showed this to the waiter,he tool it to the manager..the manager rather than being apologetic, didn’t have the courtesy to come to our table and told his waiter to cook another pad thai..I felt so bad that I myself went to him to talk..n to my surprise he didn’t want to accept it..started showing me his TripAdvisor certificates n said that it is not possible that there could b a fly in the food implying that I was telling a lie..I asked the waiter to tell the truth so the waiter hesitantly told the manager that it was in the food but the manager still could not digest this thing n became aggressive..we said we don’t wanna eat here n just to make him a little apologetic offered to pay the money for the other food that we had ordered and the extortionist willingly said yes off course ill take money for that..so we paid the money for the food that we didn’t eat and also for the bad experience and this shameless guy did not have basic decency of apologising even once! Shame...
Read moreWe went here and ordered three dishes of their menu.
Approximately 10 minutes later a huge group of people arrived and sat down (almost filling all the restaurant). Turns out it was all the internationals living on the island that were getting dinner together there.
The restaurant opened a buffet for all these people and they all started eating. However, the service was so busy with them that they didn’t pay any more attention to us at all. Until that point we waited already more than 45 minutes. After we asked for the menu to order more drinks and ask for the status of our food, finally someone of the staff came and told us that they were so busy with the buffet they couldn’t prepare our food anymore.
Fair point if they told us this from the beginning. But they let us wait for 45 minutes. They then offered that we can take food from the buffet too, but of course it had none of the options we ordered.
We decided to go for it anyway, because almost restaurants on the island close at 10 and it was 9:30 already. So finding food somewhere else could’ve been difficult.
Of course in the end they charged us a high price they never told us about and that was much higher than the value of the products we initially ordered.
If they would’ve told us from the beginning that they can’t prepare individual requests, all good. But saying nothing for 45 hours and then charging much more than we expected was really not a nice experience.
Just giving some stars because the food we had in the end...
Read moreThis restaurant has two sides to it...a Thai side and an Indian side. This review is for the Indian side. My girlfriend and I were the only people in the restaurant and were seated at a table for 45 minutes watching them take food out of the restaurant and down the street. The place only had one fan on and we were sweating profusely and ended up finishing our drinks within the first 30 minutes of waiting. When our order came out, the garlic naan was under-cooked and doughy, the masala chicken tasted like it was in a cheap pasta sauce and neither the chicken masala or butter chicken plates had more than 3-4 pieces of chicken. The green salad plate consisted of tomato slices, cucumber, and raw onions...I’m not sure if the onions were supposed to be on that plate, or if they were just improvising. Overall our check came out to 830 baht...and we honestly felt like we had just gotten robbed. Poor service, long wait (even if you are the only one in the place), bad food, and the price is about two times more than what is it worth. Don’t make the same mistake we...
