Do not trust food standards at fanciful cafes! Most impressive features of this cafe are: the lush plants, attractive furnishings and comfortable, air-conditioned interior. The least appeal is in the main meals. Not a place for lunch or dinner as the food is average, at best, and prepared with so little culinary skills. Cafe's waitress appeared to be displeased that I arrived at about an hour before dinner service closes (cafe stops dinner service at 6 pm) and I didn't feel welcome - OUCH, that's a huge negative! It's a pretty place for photos and probably recommended ONLY for beverages and "easy-to-cook" type of breakfast - definitely not for lunch or dinner. Anyway, unless you're staying in its vicinity, it's just too far to go there from the main Ao Nang stretch and not worth the trip for the mediocre food and poor service.

We had breakfast in the KK Café nearly every day, while staying in Ao Nang. The food is well priced and very good. Lovely served and always fresh. The coffee is way above average. A lot of different combinations and it’s better than your local Starbucks. ;) The surrounding is beautiful. It feels like sitting right in the nature on the inside and the outside. It’s very clean and the interior is nicely chosen. Great atmosphere for a cosy breakfast! The best part are the employees. They are amazing! This really is what made coming here special for us. They even gifted us a little souvenir on our last day. We will miss this place a lot. A little paradise. The best Café we’ve been to in Thailand (and we’ve been to a few). We’ll be back!

This is a small Café on the main street/highway in Ao Nang near the large Makro store. It is loaded with plants and I think they sell the plants like nurseries, but they are set up to give a very pleasant atmosphere outside and the inside is kept immaculate. The food is very nice and my companions said their Thai dishes were good. I usually have just had the breakfast and am not a fan of the usual Thai chicken sausage and Thai chicken ham but theirs is actually prepared a bit better....and makes them....more better. I really like the orange juice and coffee they use and when the breakfast eggs are done as an omelette, I find it is creamy and fluffy. So overall, as a Thai Café, I rate it 5 stars.
