Making Street Smash Burger Halal — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Spotted this place across the street while walking to the night market. When I realized we were here, I pointed it out to my partner who is a smash burger fanatic. He gasped and we slowly descended upon the burger joint. As we arrived we were greeted by the most delightful smells. My partner proceeded to order the classic but with a double patty. As we were standing at the counter, I was admiring all the funny cat stickers flipping the bird along with other various fun designs. I took several pictures and then we sat down. We waited no longer than 8 minutes and then the glorious masterpiece of a burger arrived. While both me and my partner were basking in the pure delight of eating this tasty morsel, we were approached by the owner. They made sure we were doing well and asked us how things were tasting. When we expressed our pure delight, they offered us some homemade fries on the house just to add to our experience. 10/10 would recommend. My partner exclaimed “this is the best smash burger I’ve ever had”. This comes from someone who has had many smash burgers in their lifetime. Just reading the menu outside. I knew I was going to have a good burger so me and my girl went in and ordered a couple burgers fries and a couple sodas and then realize they didn't take credit cards and we didn't have enough cash... The young owner said don't worry about it. I'm like no, it's okay. He's like no. It's okay I own the place I can do that... So you had me already... Then we met the next couple in line from Russia, and I got a chance to chat with them for a bit.. new friends and I just thought to myself there. We have an American, a Lebanese a Russian and my girl.. a Turk in one place... And all we talked about was traveling food... I think Anthony Bourdain said something about that. I'm not going to quote but I'm sure I can paraphrase something to the fact that all cultures can come together over good food. And good stories Anyhow, back the burger. It was delicious. Fries were on point... This place is fantastic. The owner is really special and I highly recommend this place...

Burger Bait and Switch: Overpriced, Underwhelming, and Not Worth the Hype

We dropped 1,200 baht on two burgers with a fries and drink upgrade, hoping for a tasty meal. Spoiler alert: it didn’t quite hit the spot. My burger was supposed to be pickle-free, and the fries were meant to be loaded with cheese and bacon. Well it was not.

Now, the cheese sauce? Imagine sweet syrup trying to pretend it’s cheese... yeah, it failed spectacularly. Fries + weird sweet sauce = a flavor combo that should be illegal.

For the price, you could raid any nearby night market and get ten times better grub without breaking the bank. This was our grand finale meal before jetting back to Europe, and man, what a flop!

Seriously, check those reviews twice. We trusted the Google score and got bamboozled. Five stars? More like "nice try." The burgers were just okay, nothing worth writing home about—or paying...
