TOM YUM KUNG Ao-Nang — Restaurant in Krabi Province

During our recent stay in Krabi, my companions and I had the pleasure of dining at Tom Yam Kung Restaurant in Ao Nang. Our experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a welcoming atmosphere that embodied the essence of Thai hospitality. Now, onto the most important aspect - the food! Tom Yam Kung Restaurant truly excelled in delivering authentic Thai cuisine. Each dish we ordered burst with vibrant flavours and fresh ingredients, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. From the aromatic Tom Yum soup to the flavourful Pad Thai noodles, every bite was a symphony of taste sensations. One standout dish that we thoroughly enjoyed was the signature Tom Yum Kung soup. Its perfect balance of spicy, sour, and savoury flavours left us craving for more. Additionally, the seafood dishes were impeccably fresh, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to quality.

Horrible experience. Male staff was extremely disrespectful with me from the very first beginning. He spoke to me with a very bad attitude in front of my family when I asked him some information about the food. After I found out the food was not what I thought (it had an ingredient I am allergic to, which was not mentioned in the menu), he took my plate with rage and did an offensive gesture to me. Its the first time this happen to mi in Krabi. And it was the second time in this restaurant. I came back cause the female staff are so lovely...

Nice location and the waiter was friendly. The food had an unfamiliar twist however it tasted good(pineapple rice with shrimp). The Red Snapper which was over cooked and a 4cm sliver where the pictures on the menu represent a full fish for 250 Bhat. Add to insult is the chicken wings were spit in to two pieces.
