Strawberry Moons Beach Bar — Restaurant in Krabi Province

The only beach bar at Nopharrat Beach that is actually ON the beach. All the others are on the other side of the street. This bar is a little brick shack with an awning, little chairs and tables, and a decent little sound system. The music is a nice, eclectic selection of anything from reggae, classic rock, yacht rock, and oldies. There is a small kitchen in back and they offer up little fried appetizers, burgers, baguette sandwiches and paninis. We visited Strawberry Moons most days/evenings during our week in Ao Nang Beach for a drink... or two! It's a fantastic spot on the beach front in a relatively quiet area given it's close to the Night Market - a great contrast after the buzz of the night market to get a last drink of the night under the trees looking at the sea. A good spot for sunset too. The staff were very friendly and pleased to see repeat visitors so we felt known, not just yet more tourists. Drinks were great value. If we go back to Ao Nang we'll be visiting again...

We misses the sunset, but it still is such a lovely place to stop for a drink under a huge tree. You can see the squid boats lights glow in the distance on the sea. They serve all sorts of drinks, wine by the glass, beer in bottles, cocktails and some food. Khun Kwan who was serving on the floor is so smiley and friendly, and behind the bar I think the owner is super welcoming to. Plastic seating, with tables, good music, only sea views, it's such a great spot. Also close to the Landmark area. We will return, to this...
