Tee restaurant in the jungle and bungalow — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Wonderful food and wonderful people in a very special place 🙏🏻 After eating out at a couple of great places near the beach of Ao Nang we decide to off the beaten track and chose to visit Tee’s restaurant in the jungle and were met by the sweetest and most wonderful people who have a great and intimate restaurant that deserves more attention and customers 😊 We all settled on the duck, and had some spring rolls end prawns for starters. The prawns end rolls were delicious and were soon followed by the fried duck that was accompanied by a super spicy 🌶️ seasoning that had heat and taste. When we were almost done with our meal our waiter came with a bit of complimentary fruit 🍌🍇 What then made the evening a unique and wonderful experience was that the owner helped us get back to the hotel using her own car instead of simply letting us wait for a taxi ♥️🙏🏻 The food was great, the service excellent but the heart and soul of the people who are there is fantastic and something we will remember for years. The only thing was there should have been more guests to enjoy this, but then again it gave us the opportunity to listen to the girls in the kitchen sing while cooking our dinner 🎶♥️ We can only recommend that if you are in the area then get away from the busy life near the beach and visit this gem in the...

Staying at Tee Bungalow by the Jungle and dining at Tee Restaurant in the Jungle was one of the highlights of our trip to Ao Nang, Krabi. Owned and managed by the wonderful couple Mark and Tee, this place is a hidden gem!

The bungalow was cozy, clean, and perfectly nestled amidst the tranquility of nature. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious—every dish was prepared with care and bursting with flavor. Beyond the amazing accommodation and dining experience, Mark and Tee went above and beyond to help us arrange trips to the stunning islands around Ao Nang. Their local knowledge and willingness to assist made our exploration so much smoother and more enjoyable.

What truly made our stay unforgettable was their warm hospitality. They welcomed us into their New Year’s Eve celebration like we were part of their family, creating memories we’ll cherish forever. We even explored some breathtaking spots together, which made our trip even more special.

What an incredible discovery right next to our hotel ! Great value for money: we got 740 bath for a mango smoothie, fresh coconut, stir-fried rice with pineapple and seafood, fried garlic scampi (a killer), a huge coconut milk scampi soup and papaya salad.

I've been to Thailand before and this was by far my best meal. It's a no-brainer: the welcome is warm, the cook is incredibly talented. She can make any dish sublime with her seasoning and presentation. The dishes are really copious and generous. The atmosphere with not too loud and friendly music makes you want to enjoy the moment even more. In addition in an idyllic setting with a little jungle/nature/bohemian side (I don't like insects and spiders and I didn't have any problems there).

It's very rare that I put a comment on the internet but this restaurant deserves a better visibility as it is perfect. Go there with your eyes closed, whether you stay at the Pavilions Anana hotel or further away, it's worth the trip !
