A cosy haven along Klong Mueang beach. A lovely place for the family to spend the day by the beach and dine.
*OP's second visit after two years and it's still delightfully maintained and abit livelier compared to just after the pandemic.
Location & accessibility Nestled to the west of Krabi's coast along the quiet Klong Muang beach. Restaurant has ample parking and is towards the southern end of Klong Muang. You'd probably still need transport to get here if you aren't residing in the area.
Food and pricing I'm not a food blogger but suffice to say whether it's western or Thai local cuisine it is all up to a respectable standard.
Food is priced on the medium to slightly higher side, but acceptable against taste. $$ to $$$
We had a Margherita pizza, fish and chips, a sandwich and some Tom yum soup; which was delightfully spicy.
Drinks too are decently priced for non-alcohol!
Other notes Plenty of nice seating areas; both under shelter and without, to rest relax or take photos. Decent clean Toilets and i believe showers available too if you wish to spend the day between resting and in the waters by the restaurant. Spent almost 4hrs here from the morning through...
Read moreI have been to The Boat multiple times and reviewed before.... this time, it was Christmas 2024 and I was slightly less impressed this time. They had a special Christmas dinner of salmon, but neither myself or my companion were interested in that particular dinner, so we had something else.
The food wasn't quite up to the standard that we've had before, but it is still a wonderful place to dine at. The setting is so beautiful and it is almost magical.
The weather was not great and we were too late anyway for the sunset, so for a rating, I will give it a 4 star....the several dishes were not as good as we have had before and the mixed drinks were not quite as good but it is still a nice place to come to and I definitely recommend it especially to...
Read moreWhat a magical place! It's our second visit to Krabi and we are back at Boat Coffee again. It offers so many delicious dishes that you can even get lost (pages of menu), with beautiful presentation. Most importantly there are many seafood options and it's reasonably priced. We kept ordering seafood coconut soup and it tasted as good as last time. Remember to ask for dishes to be made non-spicy if you are like me and can't take any form of chilli. It's on the beach with absolutely unique ambience, with each seating area having its own theme (perfect for Instagram). Some evenings they play live music but we have never found it crowded. Seems popular with locals. It's easy to find and there is plenty of parking. Would...
