Place is overrated and totally not worth any of your attention. You will not find here decent thai food, because they cook for "farang" taste and do it bad. You will not find good western food either, because it would be so boring and standard, without any class, without any chef's work on sight. Only one reason why this place have good rating, is because tourists who are Ok with what they usually got here. I will explain in some more details: Oysters. "Nam Jim" probably is not homemade, taste as from bottle, it showing low class of place. In restaurant you must cook it by yourself. Suratthani is near, but they choose pretty cheap oysters. Just don't order them here, if you know the subject. Green curry with Lobster meat. Lobster meat came totally overcooked. Kitchen don't know how to do it. And species are wrong, i came with thai friends, they told me "it is just wrong taste of soup, and some ingredients can not use in it. Omg, and why broccoli? They must call this soup another way." Tuna carpaccio. If chef in Japan will serve such dish on some TV show, I think in final he will do seppuku (harakiri) 🤣🤣 Cutting is wrong. Tuna is average. Sauces and species... Forget about it, just don't order. Stir fried vegetables. Good, normal, fine, but the problem is that even I can cook them not worse. Prices... Not worth your money. It is many restaurants like this in Krabi, as well as other tourists destinations, be critical mind and try to find better. Restaurant is kinda 10 years old, and obviously, they don't give a f about it, because next tourists will arrive and will come anyway. Addition: I saw chef on kitchen. European man, I don't want to insult him in any way. But, what is above, is my personal and honest opinion. I do hope, that he will improve his...

We had a WONDERFUL experience at this restaurant, and not just for the exceptional food. We arrived as a large group without a reservation (likely a nightmare for any restaurant - we had already been turned away by one other restaurant because they didn't seem to want to "deal" with us lol). We are 4 adults and 4 children (under 4 years old), so I can attest that it's not a very easy group to accomodate.

In any case, we arrived and they were super friendly from the first moment. They put 2 tables together for us, and brought extra pillows to prop behind the little ones (SO thoughtful!!)

Unfortunately, at the very beginning, as we were giving our orders, my 1.5 year old son projectile vomitted onto the floor (thankfully, discreetly). I whisked him away outside immediately, and the staff were SO kind and accomodating to us and our situation. My husband, in a panic, cancelled our order. But when we decided that I would take our son back to our hotel and my husband and daughter would stay, the staff graciously re-input our same order (with half of it for takeaway), which was incredible.

Yes, the food was amazing, even eating it from our hotel room, but the fact that the staff went above and beyond for us in what was a very unfortunate situation (where they also had the CHOICE not to be as gracious as they were) speaks volumes to what kind of place this is. I would highly,...

Ordered a seafood set for 2 @ 2,000THB After adding in the costs of drinks and taxes it was 2,464THB. You can choose whether u want it with steamed white rice or fried rice.

The staff were attentive and they understood english well. Service was really good.

We liked the food. Everything wasn’t too overpowering. Easy to eat. Every thing was so good! You can choose how u like your seafood done/cooked.

Mussels and clams were done in garlic butter sauce. I really recommend it!

Fish was steamed in thai sauce. Tastes like lime and thai spices. It was a little sour and not too spicy.

Prawns and squid were barbecued. Prawns were how I expected them to be. Crunchy, fresh and it was really easy to pull off the shell. As for the squid, i think it would have been a better idea to deep fry it instead of bbq-ing it.

Lastly, the fried rice was good! 油而不腻 easy on the tastebuds. 🤤

Hard to go home without a food baby🤰🏻

Overall, i would definitely come to this restaurant again when i come back...

Run the gauntlet of other restaurants along it's seafront alley and you will be rewarded with a very nice place to eat. The decor is eclectic but pleasant. The service was second to none, but to be honest, it was nearly empty. We ordered the mixed Thai starter for two and were amazed by the presentation. The food tasted excellent but I wish there had been slightly more of it. The mains again were very well presented but a little disappointing in content. I ordered fried beef in Penang curry sauce and got just that. I can't complain that I didn't get what I ordered but I expected something special. My wife ordered papaya salad which was ok but filled with inedible, shell-on, small shrimp. Ok if they are very small and soft but these were bordering on juvenile and tough. To summarise, a lovely restaurant but a triumph of presentation over content. Go for the experience and not the food. Oh, and it's quite expensive. Probably the most we have paid in two weeks in Thailand.
