I saw two commercial grinders from the outside and I hoped to have found a proper coffee shop. Well.... 1.) the pricing suggests that they target tourists exclusively. So why is there only staff that doesn't speak a single word of English? Or French? Or German? 2.) It looks like both grinders had the same "roasted to death" black, oily beans. My question about what's the difference between those two wasn't understood. 3.) I ordered a Cappuccino anyways and hoped for a miracle. By the succession of awful noises it was obvious that the staff was never taught how to steam milk. 4.) The coffee's smell reminded me of burnt car tyres. I don't enjoy that in coffee. 5.) Since the milk was heated almost to boiling point I had to wait 5 minutes to be able to taste the coffee. 6.) It tasted horrible. There was nothing except bitterness and burnt milk.

Always smiling and always has a nice talk. The other staff seems like they are afraid of speaking English and that’s why we give it one less star. We ate here 5 times and every time was good food. I also ate here 4 years ago and it was also one of the best places. They close early sometimes around 9pm which is also why they don’t get 1 more star. The neighboring restaurants all close at 10pm.
There is no sticky rice mango here but many of the other restaurants have that so you can always walk 50meter and get it somewhere else on the beach.
Their banana shakes without milk (mai sai nom) are great.
Breakfast buffet is a little boring so we always order from the menu.
We will...
Read moreView Talay offers a notable seaside view, a primary draw for visitors. During our visit, we tried two variations of Thai tea: the iced version and a blended Frappee. The Iced Thai Tea, priced at 70 THB, proved to be the more satisfying of the two. It presented a standard, refreshing rendition of the beverage. The location's pricing is higher compared to other places in the island. This difference is likely attributable to the direct sea view offered and worth it in my opinion. The general atmosphere is conducive to enjoying the scenery. Service was friendly. In summary, View Talay's primary asset is its location. The Iced Thai Tea is a recommendable choice, and the overall experience is perfect for those seeking a...
