French Baker Ko Lanta — Restaurant in Krabi Province

French Bakery Restaurant is a nice restaurant right on a beautiful beach. Easily recognizable by the large French flag right at the entrance on the street.

The view of the beach and the sea is just great. Unfortunately, the tables and chairs are not so comfortable, so you do not want to sit too long.

We were there at half past midnight and actually the restaurant should already be open at 11. However, we had the impression that they only started to prepare everything and open properly when we were the only guests already there.

After we had the map we could also order quickly. Online, it seems like you can have a very good breakfast here. Especially if you are looking for European breakfast with baguettes, croissants or similar. But our impression was rather that the French Bakery is more suitable as a restaurant for the afternoon or evening.

The food doesnt taste bad but the portions? In the menu on pictures everything looks 200% better size of a burger compared to reality is not even close… the meat is thin as Mcdonalds meat.. Like I wouldnt mind it if I knew it I’d go for double, this way I was leaving hungry… 😂 and for 400b? I'm only giving 2** because yes the food is delicious, but we won't be going back. Last time we got a snarky rude comment from the owner because we only ordered baggetts to go and not an expensive pizza. (We got a pizza a few days ago) Tonight we ordered baggetts to go, told it would take 10 minutes, PAID, and patiently waited. 40 minutes later we went to check on the the order and the owner told us that because we ordered take away and he was busy he gave them to his REAL customers not someone who will take out.
