It was not so much that we had a bad experience at this restaurant, but the fact that the owners had to call me and my wife "spoiled" in their response to our reviews. We are humble people who have traveled all over the world and have eaten at many places. We normally do not leave reviews, but in this case the owners have made it their job to say some very unprofessional things about us because we only expressed a honest experience dining there.

Read the online reviews about this place and you will find that they do thank the reviewers who leave good responses and berate any reviewers who had less than ideal responses.

Word of advice for the owners. It is OK if you guys do not deliver perfect service to every customer you serve. But do not need to be demeaning to customers who do not like your restaurant. It would even be professional to apologize for your bad service and say we will try harder next time. But it is NOT OK to blantely LIE and attack your customers to put them down. But maybe I am just wasting my time here. More than likely the response that you will see below will be negative.

The restaurant itself is directly at the beach and gives you a great opportunity to enjoy the sunset. The food is, however, quite costly (as all the other restaurants along the beach). We were here twice and the second time we tried some international food - e.g. Spagetti Napoli. The Thai food on the first day was averaged but portion-wise not so much, the papaya salad way too hot (we eat the salad every day and this one was hardly eatable) and therefore overpriced (3 stars). The international food however was not spiced at all and the sauce was purely smashed tomato without any flavor (2 stars).

Update: The restaurant itself is worth 2-3 stars. But based on their feedback on this review and their false statement (e.g. we were never asked how spicy the papaya salad should be) and blaming us we would taking something away (?!) I decreased...

I came here back in 2017 and the food was excellent but sadly it's not anymore.

I ordered the chicken pad prik pao which was very poor. Very little flavour, big chunks of onion that was barely cooked and the eggs were still raw on top. (190 Baht including 2 eggs)

Sadly the place is very run down and the owner looked like he could do with a serious wash, not to mention he looked like he had smoked the entire supply of joints that were for sale!
