Richey Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Don’t fall into the temptation to eat here as it’s only western people who want boring food. This is a very nice place and good location. The staff is the nicest but the food lack any taste. We ordered a baguette sandwich but what we got was toast bread sandwich. Haha.

They don’t understand the word “ice” either.

I ordered fries now that they have all that western food. My mistake. It was the typical boring tasteless fries you find in a deep freezer.

The Thai food shrimps I ordered tasted fair but was not warmer than the weather... not a pleasant meal.

There are a lot of flies here when you eat. It’s a bit disturbing for some. But you will survive :-)

The music was pleasant too. But the neighboring restaurants have better food. I have tried most of them...

My advice is to only hang out and get a beer and maybe some Thai food if you must. They have a great view here and the stars in my rating is for the view and the kindness of the staff. :-)

Advice 2: don’t eat where many western tourists eat as it’s probably mainstream...

I kinda have mixed feelings about this place, I have to admit I do enjoy the BBQ here and I will probably come back. But this place is quite popular and the staff (the older waiters and BBQ staff) start to get an attitude. Their prices are double than other places and when I asked why fish is 550, when it’s 250-300 at the places near by, they just told me “go go, eat there”. Last time (like a week ago) I ordered tiger prawns and the price was 1500 per kg, today suddenly they calculated it as 1800 per kg (at many other places it’s 1000 per kg, all come from same fisherman/market). Once I asked if the price gone up, he once again got mad and started patronizing and telling me if I don’t believe him I can come to see the scale. So even though they say fixed prices, it is always good to double check... So if you go there, at least lower your expectations about the service (bad attitude and extremely long...

Les employés sont adorables, pleins d’attentions pour vous. Le boss fait tourner une affaire et s’y implique cœur et âme. La nourriture est délicieuse et raffinée, ne parlons pas des cocktails ! Pour terminer notre séjour nous avons eu droit à un concert donné par « The Gang Band » un groupe de Koh Lanta qui nous a fait planer comme rarement ! ! ! One more evening in this superb place. This is the last one here and we end it wonderfully well! Here everything made us dream and will also make you dream. The employees are adorable, full of attention for you. The boss runs a business and is involved heart and soul in it. The food is delicious and refined, let's not talk about the cocktails!
