Authentic & Flavorful Thai Food: Na’s Kitchen in Pai is outstanding for its tasty curries (Massaman, Panang), red pork curry, steamed garlic fish, fried rice, and more — every dish feels fresh and made with care.

Vegan-Friendly & Flexible: Many menu items can be adapted for vegetarian/vegan diets; the staff are knowledgeable about spice levels and dietary preferences.

Generous Portions, Fair Prices: Large servings, hearty food, good value for what you get—great for sharing and trying multiple dishes.

Warm, Friendly Service: Staff are welcoming, attentive, and happy to help with recommendations. Even when it’s busy, service remains polite.

Casual, Relaxed Atmosphere: Simple setup with both indoor and outdoor seating; the vibe is laid-back, ideal after a full day exploring Pai.

Highly Recommended Dishes: Try the steamed garlic fish, curries (Massaman, Panang), fried rice, and shakes. Dessert options like mango sticky rice also get praise.

Peak Times & Wait: Be ready for a queue during dinner hours — many people go here because it’s so good. Arriving early or a bit before full busy time helps.

Five stars — Na’s Kitchen delivers genuine Thai flavors, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a...

Very busy spot because they have good food.

But because they are busy, a few things might be off.

I walked in and went up to the counter. I was asked how many I was and it was just me, so I was told I could sit outside and to grab a menu a paper and a pencil so I can write down what I want when I’m ready and come back and pay.

First time I ever had to write down my own order. At some sushi spots I put a X next to what I wanted, but not physically wrote out my order.

As you can see, I wrote it out and I wrote spicy, but it came not spicy, when I addressed this, they brought me the pepper and then I was told that if I wanted it spicy, I should’ve wrote it down.

To be honest, there’s nothing I hate more than asking for something spicy them saying OK and then it coming not spicy and I have to add the spice myself.

Other than that, once I added the spice, it was good. As I was sitting a weight started to form. mind you it’s just a Thursday night. But the food did come out fast. You’re in the service was great. Anytime I asked for anything. It came out...

My girlfriend and I were on our last day of the Mae Hong Son loop, and we stopped in Pai for a night. We were looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon this place as it was packed. We had Tom Yum and stir-fried vegetables along with green curry. Everything was delicious and authentic. The owner speaks English only and faces every service mistake with a big smile and patience. We found the ordering system a bit cumbersome as we’d have needed to fill up a notebook with the acronyms of the dishes taken from the menu. Although a brilliant idea as it avoids miscommunication, it didn’t work properly as the waiter had to come back at least twice and the owner herself, who is only cooking, had to be back before a clear understanding of what we ordered. Eventually, we understood that system was not in use anymore, but the waiter could not tell us in English. Among all the many touristy restaurants of Pai, this is the most authentic and cost-effective. The food was tasty, and the owner was patient. I’d recommend it for local food and...

Went basic and got pad si ew, but it was great! I asked for tofu and received chicken but didn’t say anything because was too hungry and they were busy, haha. I forgot my wallet, and so asked if I could go back to my hotel to get it. The woman seemed slightly concerned but said yes, as long as I come back. I’m a dummy and kept missing the turn to my hotel, but when I finally came back, she seemed relieved and happy. Gave me my change and a watermelon candy. How to order: stand in the line that goes out the door and wait til the host/server/main dude comes up to you to ask how many people. I was seated because I was by myself, and wrote my order on a piece of paper he gave me. If you’re a bigger party, looks like they have you write down your order but you’ll have to stand and wait until a table frees up. Overall seems like an efficient establishment. And I like that the kitchen is up front so you can see all the action.

I patronised this shop for dinner on a weekday in October 2024. DELICIOUS! But also somehow very popular with foreigners. No locals visit here. Food errs on the expensive side since this eatery is now very popular amongst tourists. Still, I must say all the dishes we've ordered came up delicious, so the quality is there. We paid THB 475 for fried tamarind fish, tom yum soup with chicken, stir fried veg, and a plate of brown rice shared between 2. Fish: fried to perfection, drenched with the tangy sauce Soup: rich, tasty, oyster mushrooms, veg, chicken slices, slight spicy Stir fried veg: has the wok-hey note!! Appetising Rice: nutty, fragrant Altogether a delicious meal, though the queue can be disastrously long! Best to come before 6 PM.
