When I asked the owner if you have sticky rice, the owner replied yes, and when I asked for it to take away, he suddenly said they have no sticky rice. And he told me to go to another restaurant. Other restaurants nearby didn't have sticky rice, so I went back and asked if he could give me sticky rice if I ordered another expensive menu, and he said yes if I ordered grilled chicken. So I said that I will and checked again that you have sticky rice for sure, he said yes. “Then you lied to me.” I said, and the next moment he hid somewhere else. I have been in Pai for 2 months and he was the first liar that I’ve ever met in pai. His other menus were awful and far more expensive than other restaurants nearby.

My experience with service was terrible. It was morning time and only 2 tables were occupied. I came in recognized by the staff. Waiting for over more then 5 minutes. I asked first girls if they can serve me. Said yes. Nothing happening again. Then finally guy came to me asking me if i have been served. I said no. He left (I thought for the menu). But I was wrong. The food was really good but, as a bit of context, when I went there I was with this group of travellers that I met during the day and we went for dinner together. One of them happened to be very annoying and spoiled person. And he was impolite with the restaurant staff. Nevertheless, the food they gave us was really spicy and the manager said it was not spicy. Another problem was that the price of the dish was 60 baht at the menu, but when I was paying, the manager said it was a different one and he insisted in charging me 100 baht.
