Very busy and in high season overcrowded Asian food restaurant situated on the very beginning of Walking street.(opposite 7/11) More specifically appreciated by Chinese customer for the huge choice and low price* of their dishes... there are also quiet a lot of Falangs appreciating this street food restaurant.
The Pros: • Very affordable prices • Service is fast and generally friendly and you have the choice of Aircon room or covered terrace from where you can observe the crowds... (trafic noise and exhaust fumes included) • Noisy but very lively ambient • Rice plates with curry and very well cooked meat or chicken are generally the most appreciated and also the safest plates**
The Cons: • Even thought most people seem to have a good experience here some werent so lucky.... • Low price also means frozen Seafood(also meat& chicken) which added to little hygienic knowledge can make you seriously regret your choice afterwards.
**Be aware : "the cold chain" regarding any frozen food (Seafood and any Meat) is a unknown procedure to most selfnamed chefs here and generaly in all street food like places...
Read more8/Nov This place is full of customers during lunch and dinner. Better go a bit earlier. I went there during dinner and have to wait a while but not long. The turn around was fast. Once the customers leave the table after finished their food, staff immediately clear and clean the the table and ready for the next customer. Food: The food was delicious. Following the reviewer recommendation here I tried the pork satay, love it, my regret did not order more. The other food was coconut fried rice (hope it's correct name, I cannot remember). Similar to pineapple fried rice but this the fried rice was in the coconut instead of the pineapple. The fried rice had the coconut fragrance and tasted delicious. Service: Friendly and efficient staff. I was there during the peak dinner time, full of customers, still they managed to cooked delicious food and served them fast. Atmosphere: Clean, quite a nice ambience. Don't feel crowded if full...

The pork dish didn’t look like the photo ( minced rather than pieces) and smelt and tasted of amonia..I assume the meat had been out of the fridge for far too long. The large rotund waiter got quite agitated that we didn’t want to pay the full bill ( the other dishes were ok but very very average at best). and got quite angry. ..Not wanting to cause a scene we paid the full amount and left to go to another restaurant for edible food. Great shame given the Thais are gracious and polite… this was very sad to experience. I wouldn’t waist your money here there are plenty of delightful places to eat where the staff...
