Pai Indian Restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the cozy ambiance, with its wooden furniture and vibrant decor, sets the stage for an amazing dining experience. The food truly shines here, and I can’t recommend it enough.
The naan bread deserves special praise. In fact, when biting into it, I couldn’t help but recall that classic Peep Show scene where Jeremy orders four naans, and Mark exclaims, "Four naans? That’s insane!" While I didn’t order quite that many, the quality of the naan here might just make that amount seem reasonable. The garlic naan was beautifully golden, slightly crisp on the edges, and generously brushed with garlic and butter—a perfect accompaniment to the main dishes.
The chicken tikka showcased in the photos was tender and succulent, marinated to perfection in a well-balanced blend of spices, and grilled just right to bring out smoky, charred notes. Served on a bed of lettuce with a garnish of vibrant orchids, the presentation was as delightful as the taste. It paired wonderfully with the naan, creating a rich, flavorful bite every time.
And then there was the mango lassi—a refreshing, silky smooth delight. Served in a charming glass pitcher with a straw, its sweetness was just right, balancing the tangy mango and creamy yogurt. It was an ideal way to cool down and cleanse the palate between bites.
The attention to detail in both flavor and presentation made this meal unforgettable. Pai Indian Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in the area, whether you’re a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine or just exploring it for the first time. Their dedication to authentic flavors and satisfying portions guarantees you’ll leave with a full belly and a happy heart. Would I return? Absolutely—but maybe next time, I’ll go all-in and...
Read moreAfter going sightseeing to the Pai canyon, I was in search of a good quality restaurant. Luckily I happened to locate this restaurant via google. Upon arriving I was greeted by very amicable waiting staff, who directed me to a table. I ordered a chicken curry, rice and a few naan’s, the curry was absolutely spectacular, particularly when ate with the naan. I can honestly say that this was one of the tastiest curries I have ever had! This was to the extent that I came back the next evening, and ordered a prawn curry, which was even better! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody looking to acquire a taste of India in...
