JW Marriott — Restaurant in Mai Khao

This place is absolutely first class. We were lucky to have a swim out pool, which was fantastic. I have never been in a hotel where ALL the staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. If you are seated on the lovely cushioned beds, the staff continuously top you up with iced water. The beach and water are beautiful. The restaurants look really classy but can be on the expensive side (for Thailand - similar price to UK) There are three massage stations on the grounds, close to the beach. 500b for one hour. Fantastic. Tips - at each end of the hotel grounds there are local beach restaurants. Very cheap. There is also a selection of bars and restaurants around the corner. It's a wonderful place, but beware its 2 places in one (JW Marriott and Marriott Vacarion Beqch Club), so your Marriott elite benefits do not apply. Also you need to check your hotel bill carefully because the Indian restaurant will try to charge you for things you didn't order and Ms Sharma from management will try charge you full stay if you cancel which is against cancelation policy.
