we booked in agoda for 9 days (Nov. 18-27 days) and paid 560 USD price, room 65 of building B, but when we came there the owner said that the room is under repair and just cancel the reservation but the thing is we can't cancel because it's non refundable and no option to get the money back through agoda. they said they can offer another room but need to pay 4000 bath more, but when we check it I see that it's just look like the room we paid for. and they can't even show us the room that's under repair for proof. and we asked them for refund but they said to just cancel the reservation and we can get full refund but we can't cancel it in agoda because it's non refundable. but when we tried to ask them where is the room that's under repair they didn't answer. this is a big scam. they made story just for money. they forced us to leave instead of letting us stay there without asking for more money. I don't believe that its different room. anyways it's currently happening right now. and everyone don't speak english. it's really bad vacation place to go to. we can't cancel the booking because no cancelation option. unless agoda will help us get the money back. bathroom cabinet door is damage, no water, the room is not so nice. and we saw the letter in the lobby that it's not allowed to rent daily/weekly, no receptionist. so it means everything they said is a lie and scam us. the owner of the condo listed it to agoda illegally so when people try to book it online and pay first they will make story and tell you to cancel on your last minute even it's paid already. non...

Pool is dirty (sometimes the water is green for days and nobody cleans it, sometimes residents wash their shoes in it), condo is old, furniture is broken. Equipment in gym is also old and partly not working. Shower has weak water flow and you can’t adjust temperature, it is either too hot or just cold(in terms of Thailand). There is mold smell in hallways and if you leave your apartment for some time without aircon (like traveling around for a while) there is mold smell in the apartment too. There are lots of cockroaches (in rooms) and rats (everywhere outside around the building). Both owners we had contracts with had huge debts for condo maintenance expenses. The rules of condo say that short term rent is prohibited but it happens all the time. There are lots of loud people and soundproof is not existent. You will hear every door opening and closing(which is very loud here) and everyone talking or just walking in hallway. Long term rent for a small studio with shower is about 25k and for a bigger studio like apartment with a bath is about 30k month plus electricity and water bills.
