DO NOT COME HERE! This place is a scam.
We came because we saw decent reviews on here and Klook and if you book with them it is the same price as you find on Klook so we thought we were helping them out by booking directly..
We ordered the Sweet Lovers massage and added on a 30 min facial massage - NOTE: they no longer have any of the gold products so this is essentially a regular scrub, oil massage and bath. We still agreed since I really wanted to have a milk bath and this was only offered in this set.
They have another location in the back inside the Ramada hotel. This place was NOT as clean as the main reception area at all. There were blood droplets under my massage bed as if the person before had a nose bleed and they forgot to clean it up?
The total amount of time for the set and facial was 180 minutes. The masseuse wasted so much time setting up between transitions, it was just strange.. We both asked for strong pressure massages and I had to continually remind them during. Each time I asked, the ladies would start talking amongst themselves, making it a very uncomfortable situation as well.
The facial massage was a JOKE as well. There was no massaging and they basically just wiped our faces for 15 mins with cotton pads… they wasted 15 mins gathering materials outside the room. I asked for them to focus on my face bc that’s what I was interested in and that’s when they said the facial massage time ended already and they were providing a free head and shoulder finisher… I peeked at the clock a few times during the face massage because I already felt shorted on the previous scrub and body massage.
My husband and I have been to a weeks worth of massages and spas at this point, these women did not seem to know what they were doing. It was so chaotic and unorganized. I even had to stop her to put towels under my ankles bc she was basically sitting on my legs at one point, digging my knees into the bed. It was so painful.
We never like to talk badly about any establishment but the receptionist was dismissive when we told her about our horrible, waste of money and time experience.
I wish I listened to the review prior to this one with the 1 star, stating a similar experience. I instead wanted to give them a shot due to Klook and the older reviews. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS WE DID...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to enjoy a Thai massage at Orientala Spa in Patong, Phuket, and it was truly a delightful escape.
Upon entering the spa, the ambiance immediately sets the tone for a tranquil experience. The private, air-conditioned rooms provide a comfortable oasis, complemented by soothing ambient music that enhances the overall relaxation.
Before the massage begins, guests are asked to fill out a questionnaire, a thoughtful touch that allows you to highlight specific areas of concern or request special treatment. This personalization ensures that the massage is tailored to your individual needs and preferences. Additionally, being able to communicate your preferred pressure level adds another layer of customization to enhance the overall experience.
Making a reservation online through WhatsApp is a convenient option that I highly recommend, as it streamlines the process and ensures you secure your preferred time slot. During my visit on a Friday at 5 pm, the spa was not crowded, contributing to a more intimate and peaceful atmosphere.
The skilled therapists at Orientala Spa are adept at their craft, delivering a massage that strikes the perfect balance between therapeutic and relaxing. The entire experience reflects a commitment to providing a personalized and rejuvenating escape for every guest.
In conclusion, Orientala Spa in Patong, Phuket, offers a tranquil haven for those seeking a quality Thai massage experience. With its serene ambiance, personalized approach, and skilled therapists, it's a place that invites you to unwind and indulge in a truly...
Read moreFor my 4 nites in Patong, Phuket, I had booked 4 different massage places at different price brackets.
I used to visit Bangkok every year n had Thai massage every day I was there. So I hv a clear idea n experience of Thai massage. My general feeling is that massage therapists in BKK ar better technique-wise.
Below is a comparison of my experience at the 4 massage places in Patong.
ORIENTALA SPA Overall: Rank 1, the best of the 4 Price: Thb 1,000, 2 Hrs Massage Technique: Highly skilled. I went twice. 1st time was abv average by Phuket standards but only average by BKK standards. 2nd time with another therapist was divine n can count as one of the best massages I hv ever had, even when compared with BKK. The pressure points were exact n pressure applied was just right, especially for the back, which is the trickiest part.
BLOOM BEAUTY & MASSAGE Overall: Rank 2 Price: Thb 800, 2 Hrs Massage Technique: Good skills in massaging arms n legs, but little feel for pressure points on the back.
LET'S RELAX (Patong 2nd Street Branch) Overall: Rank 3 Price: Thb 1,200, 2 Hrs Massage Technique: Worst ever I hv had. Pressure was applied like a huge rock n no feel for pressure points.
KIM'S MASSAGE & SPA Overall: Rank 4, the worst customer service Price: Thb 650, 1.5 Hrs Despite having confirmed my booking via Whatsapp, they failed to find it n were so...
