After Yum Pattaya — Restaurant in Pattaya City

The first meal we had at Pattaya and my gosh was it such a delicious meal.

1/ Location: The restaurant is part of a gas station with an outdoor sitting area, there's a Mini BigC beside so you can get refreshments and napkins. We went there in the middle of December so it was quite pleasant sitting outside.

2/ Staff: The staff were super friendly and very quick with orders and requests. Plus, there are many of them so you don't have to worry about missing orders during peak times.

3/ FOOD: The food was so good, arguably the best we had at Pattaya. Fresh and well-seasoned seafood with a bit of heat from the chillies but they were very enjoyable (we're not good at eating spicy food but these were good). The deep-fried soft shell crab was good but a bit fishy if you eat the crab fat. Not salty at all. And the spiciness evens out the fishy aroma. The pork sausage we also have in Vietnam so it's less special compared to other dishes. The highlight was probably the pork belly. Smells so good and very crispy on the outside but still juicy from the inside.

Definitely a recommendation to those who wishing to...

When I heard about an outdoor dining space by a petrol station and going in the middle of the hot Thai summer, I feared the worst. Also After Yum has expanded into Bangkok so why come to Pattaya. Well. There will be an air conditioned building that should be completed by June with some additions to the menu. But its the atmosphere that you are here for. Thankfully there wasn't a queue at 6:30 on a Wednesday surprisingly. Staff greeted us really well. Food served without much wait....and the size of the yums were MASSIVE! Crab and squid was fresh. The "secret yum" sauce had the right consistency of sweet vs spicy. What was missing was a beer to wash down the great food. There wasn't anywhere that sold alcohol so I would recommend to BYO. Seating outdoors had that al fresco feel and despite it being a hot stuffy night we left feeling really content - particularly when we originally planned to go to another restaurant that would have cost...

this rate is not about the food but of the service and let me tell you why before covid 19 ,I visited this after yum bcs of comments and people post so I wanted to try , for my surprise the food was nothing but regular but what it was the service so lame as full as it was you needed to wait make the order and if you did not get order you couldn't get an table now in this pandemic I thought to find this place less people and probably get an table and enjoy !!!! OMG OMG OMG ...how wrong I was ....food remind the same and yes less people tables empty but they are reserved for unknown customer guess what , you can order to go which allow to get the food quickly but unable to sit even due you are an customer but needed to be standing what a nightmare ....although the owner try to cover it with polite attention...
