Possibly the best Thai food I have ever had.

Started with spicy pomelo salad. Spicy and earthy. Fresh shrimp on the top. Warm but firm and had that pop when you bite into it. More spicy than the other varieties I have had throughout Thailand . Delicious.

Next dish was a softshell crab in yellowcurry. They were extremely generous with the softshell crab.

Final dish was a cashew chicken with a much darker sauce than I have had. It was so full of flavor. Quite amazing really.

This was honestly probably the best Thai restaurant I have ever been in. Setting was beautiful. Smallish with 10 to 12 table.

The servers were attentive and friendly. I don't speak Thai and they were exceptionally helpful.

You would do well to give this place a try.

Also scan the qr code at the restaurant for a really good English menu with photos .

On my quest to find the best massaman curry, I stumbled upon this hidden gem. The slow-cooked massaman was rich in flavor, featuring a tender chicken leg with meat that effortlessly fell off the bone, all drenched in a deeply flavorful and creamy gravy. Unlike most competitors, this massaman was less sweet, which I appreciated, and had a unique gingery note that set it apart.

The dish was beautifully presented, adorned with edible flowers. The restaurant's exterior might not catch your eye, but once inside, you'll find a classy atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and friendly, enhancing the dining experience.

While the prices are a bit higher than typical street food, they are fair and well worth it. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're a fan of massaman curry. I'm confident their other curries are equally...

If you’re cruising through Pattaya and craving some bomb Thai food, Baan Kaeng is the spot to hit up. This joint serves up legit homemade dishes that’ll make your taste buds dance.

Food: Their beef pad krapow is straight fire. The beef is tender, and the basil adds that fresh kick. Plus, their nam pla prik (chili fish sauce) is on point—spicy, tangy, and perfect for drizzling over everything. They’ve got a ton of other dope dishes too, so there’s always something new to try.

Service: The staff here are super friendly and make you feel right at home. They’re quick with the service and always ready to help you pick out something tasty if you’re stuck.

Overall, Baan Kaeng is a must-visit if you’re in Pattaya and want some authentic Thai flavors. Trust, you won’t be...
