Tex-Mex Brunch at a Steakhouse Favorite š„©š®
Iād first remembered Beefeater for its ribs and steaks. In Thailand, I usually lean toward seafood over meat, so I hadnāt been here oftenā but this time, I finally managed to catch their weekend Mexican buffet Iād missed so many times before.
It didnāt disappoint.š Even with a 2 p.m. reservation, both the indoor and outdoor seating were nearly full. The buffet station may look modest in size, but every tray is filled to the brim and replenished quickly.
The signature baby back ribs exceeded expectationsā tender meat, balanced sauce, and a perfect char.š„
As a taco lover, I couldnāt help but smile at the combination of fresh toppings, cool sour cream, tangy salsa, crisp nachos, and soft tortillas. š®
Thereās also pulled pork, simple salads, and a few chicken dishes including wings.
The service matches the reputation of a long-established favoriteā smooth and efficient, the kind of pace you want here more than over-the-top warmth.š©š»āš¼
No need to explain why reservations are essential, or why the place fills up so quicklyā the variety and flavor speak for themselves. At 345 baht, itās a satisfying indulgence.
If youāre craving meat instead of seafood, if you want rich, hearty flavors over a shabu-shabu pot, Beefeater will more than deliver.šš»

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent for the weekend lunch buffet. Well priced but it's basically supermarket, ready meal quality food. I'm at a loss of what standards the people that are giving high score reviews to this place hold restaurants to.
The fare was a mix of Tex Mex and US and most of it tasted cooked from frozen.
The ribs, which I had high hopes for, and the chicken drumsticks tasted like some precook meals you heat up in the oven. Ribs still had the membrane on so I'm not expecting much from the kitchen staff. The meat just wasn't good or well seasoned.
"Beef carnitas" was stringy mushy with a strong umami flavour I'd most compare to that of beef jerky. The ground beef was worse than taco bell. The chicken fajita, I didn't even finish. Seemed like an Old El Paso job.
Looking for positives here; they accept cards without a fee, the food kept coming out hot and the potato wedges were crispy but mostly likely frozen from a bag.
I will say the service was good by Thai standards, with the owner getting stuck in and walking around with the staff. They just could have been more on it with upselling me another drink as my glass sat empty for 10 minutes.
If you want to eat a lot of food for a cheap-ish price and aren't much of a foodie, you might like this place. If you're after quality and taste, give this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been here and eating at this restaurant since 2012, the food is always fantastic no matter what im ordering, i have been here with big groups and sometimes by myself, I have noticed since a couple of years ago that the service has gone from very good to very bad, for example i was there when there was fully booked i was there by myself. The waiter told me i had to wait until there was a table ready, i said ok i can wait. Then there was some people that come that also not ordered table but he let them pass me in line, there was a couple of tables availible. I told the waiter why do you let them get a table but not me i have been waiting the longest? The waiter was now a bit irritated but said i can not give you a table for 4 people for only 1. I was a bit pissed but was thinking i dont need this so i just went out. I tried next time to book a table at 19:30 and was there 19:29. This time they did not have any table availible. I told i have booked a table this time the same waiter just said he will fix it, it took 20 minutes and as the last time i was there he send other people before me to get table.
The food is of the highest class you can ask for, to bad that the service is amongst the worst, i still go eat at beefeater but not so often and i have stopped...
