Nong Jai 1 Restaurant — Restaurant in Pattaya City

I will preface this review by telling you we live here part time and found ourselves at one of the most tourist restaurants due to the late hour. I should have known better but I’m here to help others.

The good was the atmosphere. Played music which we loved everyone/patrons seemed to be having a good time

We ordered shrimp cakes, which were amazing! Shrimp omelette which was like every other places omelette and the fried mixed vegetables which was horrendous and watery. Over all food overall was just meh. Thank goodness for the shrimp cakes

The worse part is the staff. They all looked miserable which then accounted for what happened when we got our check.

Always check your change folks. My change was supposed to be 420B and I somehow ended up with 380B with nothing on the receipt about a required tip. I’m an accountant so I know math. They seemed genuinely surprised I said something which tells me it happens a lot. Always check...

No more Little Brother restaurants. Never had such a bad Pat Grapau meal, not even in Switzerland ! The food was unkind, tasteless and poor quality.

We had 2x Pat Grapau and 1x Crispy Porc. Crispy porc arrived cold, asked if you could please make it hot. The food came back after 15 minutes when we were already finished with everything! The crispy porc really stank of old oil and was not edible in terms of flavour.

We also had a few English people next to us who ordered a meal and then the wrong food arrived! When the service chef (Lek) asked for the menu to check, he was already swearing in Thai. The customer got the menu and complained that it was not what she had ordered. The waitress refused to change the food and then she decided to pay. And 100.00% she will only speak badly about the restaurant and never come back.

This was unfortunately not a positive experience and hope that the management can do...

Open air restaurant in Sai 2, in an open space between sois 10 and 11.. Basic seating arrangements, tables placed very close to each other, cheap white plastic chairs. Ambience not that good being next to a very busy and noisy road. Staff was polite and attending. Most of the customers were foreigners so this is their target group reflecting on their prices too. We ordered thai seafood dishes and my thai friends did not like the food. The shrimps in my dish did not taste fresh so I avoided to eat it, to be on the safe side. Prices average, certainly not cheap. Their food needs urgent...
