Wizard Brewery and Restaurant — Restaurant in Pattaya City

3.5 is the real answer. It’s an above average atmosphere but not quite a 4 star yet. Above average beer. Below average food, like 2 star food. I like place, beer is their go to but the food is just not there. Not even the Thai food was above average.

In the USA I love to visit breweries. The best places always have 3 things in common, great beer, ice cold glasses and a good place to chill. Get my glass to freezing cold and I’ll look past the food at a place like this.

No true haxy IPA on draft was a shame. The house IPA wasn’t great but the DIPA was solid.

I accidentally went to the taproom next door once before and I think their food was better, even though it was less than average as well. Their glasses were cold but their service was not great.

Both places could be the best of the best in Pattaya with a little work. In a foreigner centric city, these places have this Thai idea of how western things should be and, as a westerner, it doesn’t feel quite right. It’s a Friday night and they have live Thai music with about 5 foreigners, all of which have left by this time. Don’t cater to foreigners just understand if you make a few changes they will come spend their money here.

I’ll come back. Beer is all I truly care about. I would hope for better but it’ll drag me back thru the door and hopes of seeing this place turn into a 5 star...

A Racist Brewery if you have brown skin. I came here with my wife because it looked really nice on the outside with decent reviews on Google. When we entered the place, we were given a table right under the speakers and next to a bussing station which was a bit odd. So we requested to get another table but they insisted the place was full - it wasn't.

So we said we will wait for a better table, and suddenly they offered a table next to kitchen entrance (you know it's not a nice place again) but it was better than the first one.. there were other tables empty there but occupied by beer towers. They didn't offer us these tables even when we asked. Right after we were seated, every white customer got those tables, but not us.

We decided to walk out without creating a scene as it was very clear from the service staff's attitude that we were not welcome.

Best brewery I've been to in Thailand so far. Great place to grab a beer and listen to live music. They had one of the better IPA's I've had in SEA, they aren't afraid of a proper bitter beer unlike the majority of breweries here. I really enjoyed the IPA, the DIPA while the West coast was good not great. The vibe is definitely a little goofy with all the staff wearing witches hats and all black but hey it definitely is memorable. However the vibe of the brewery itself is pretty great! It's like an old school dive bar meets a new school brewery. What I mean is the layout reminds me of an old school kinda bar; very dark with a lot of high top tables and a big stage in the center for music, but everything was super clean and up to date. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and when the live music started I could tell this would be my go to place if I lived here. I Would definitely recommend...
