If you’re in Pattaya and craving authentic North Indian food, this Punjabi-style restaurant on Beach Road (right across North Pattaya Beach) is a solid choice. The facade looks good and inside they’ve created a full traditional Indian vibe that feels homely.
They have plenty of options focusing mainly on North Indian cuisine. I started with Papdi Chaat – good enough to satisfy cravings, though of course not quite the same as back home in India. For main course, I tried Chicken Masala with plain steamed rice and garlic naan.
A quick heads-up: if you have food allergies, do ask in advance. I’m allergic to eggs, and here the naan and even the Chicken Masala had egg in them (which isn’t common in India). Thankfully, they customized it for me, which was a big plus.
Taste-wise, the food is enjoyable, though a bit on the sweeter side compared to real Indian spices. Even the raw onions in the onion salad tasted slightly sweet, which made the Chicken Masala sweeter than expected. If you’re a spice lover, I’d suggest asking for green chilies to balance it out.
Pricing is on the higher side compared to local Thai food, but that’s expected with Indian cuisine abroad. On the brighter side, the staff are warm, polite, and speak fluent Hindi and English, which makes communication super easy for Indian...

Read moreAtmosphere as well really good. I have been to this restaurant several times before in Pattaya as well in Bangkok. But this time in Pattaya branch, i didn't like the food much. I felt as if the authentic taste has been lost like it was before. Started with Samosa and chai - Samosa made very ordinarily like an amateur cooking it for the first time at home (wasn't khasta "Crispy" at all). Tea was served mild hot l, wasn't prepared fresh. Murg Kalmi Kebab was good though. Then had the chicken special thali. Chicken curry was good with laccha paratha and roti (roti was a disappointment). Raita was not at all good very sorry. Dal makhani was ok. Basmati like was cooked to perfection. Overall I would I was disappointed this time. It was Indian food but missing the authenticity. The staff was courteous and humble Raja served us well. may be the restaurant should recruit a real Indian chef and try to reviv authentic indian taste. This is time it was like some one try to mimick Indian tasting like food. Because of which I felt like I paid a very premium amount for this below average...
