Very disappointed. After reading the reviews we decided to pay a visit to Bruno’s. Since we couldn’t get a reservation at BeefEaters (recommended) we decided to come to Bruno’s. The price was fair but for the food it was not worth it. We are traveling from the US as Indian American and felt that our service was affect based on our race. I felt that just because we did not order wine we were last on their list. I ordered the Ribeye steak and the French onion soup. We were seated around 8:00pm and they took our order roughly 15 minutes after. As soon as we ordered it took roughly 20 minutes to get our appetizer which is understandable but for the entree it took roughly 45 minutes for 3 steaks. This was the most disappointing part. During our dinner I decided to keep track of how many times they came and asked if we needed anything. Overall 3 times. This ruined our experience in the sense we felt that we were being discriminated and not served. Finally after our streaks came 2 of them came wrong. One was practically not cooked at all. What made me the most angry was the main chef was sitting at a table sipping away on wine and not paying attention in the kitchen. Finally after waiting over an hour we had to send the steaks back. It was overall a terrible experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. All the people at the restaurant are only there for wine and not food.
PS. Not the best place for family’s either. As soon as you enter they have a smoking lounge filled with men who bring prosistues. (Overweight Russian Men who enjoy starting...
Read moreI saw a recent YouTube review of this restaurant and decided to give it a go. I turned up alone and without a reservation on busy valentines day. I was warmly met by Andy the manager who very kindly accommodated me. I ordered the Australian Rib Eye, with Mashed potato and Mushroom truffle sauce. It was very delicious. I would go as far to say it was the best steak I have eaten in a very long time and hands down the best steak in Pattaya! It was juicy, tender and cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive and courteous, with Andy being the perfect front of house host. I found the atmosphere to be very relaxing indeed! The evening was finished off with a delicious courtesy Irish coffee. The price was very reasonable too and well worth the money in my humble honest opinion. Thank you so much. I will return...
Read moreThis Pattaya Iconic restaurant has maintained their excellence over the many years we have visited (initial location was on Soi 1). Food quality was perfect, I would suggest the Rack of Lamb, great taste and presentation 5 star. Service very attentive, noticeably more female staff serving these days. Very nice ambiance and modern decor, the building has three distinct rooms separated by glass walls, giving it a nice open feeling. The only issue was the wine list, while some what OK (a little pricey, but extensive) our wine of choice was sold out one our second bottle, improvement in this area would make improve my rating. Look forward to my return visit at the...
