News Steaks & Grill — Restaurant in Pattaya City

I was craving for some good handmade meat balls european style, and there you go I found it. After searching online for a while I got hold of this restaurant that serve european style meatballs in gravy sauce. The restaurant is located very close to the Airport pattaya bus stand and its very easy to miss. It was completely empty on a Friday evening, thanks to covid situation. Ambiance was amazing, i love the big bar in the middle and outside and inside sitting. There is a tiny place for kids to play too.

We ordered inhouse chef special burger and meatballs in gravy with mash potatoes. I was completely blown away by the quality of meatballs, it was perfectly cooked yet juicy and I loved the creamy gravy. The burger was great as well.

For two people with drinks, the bill was under 900baht which is quite okay with the quality and quantity of food we had.

Good quality food with good service from all the women that work there except for the big man waiter who neither listens or knows how to be a waiter, just too lazy to walk around the table to place your food in front of you just reaching over everyone to put the plate down. The steaks are excellent but don't choose the 400g steak it's just 2x 200g steaks. By far the best dish on the menu is the Lamb Shank. I had it several times. The meat just falls off the bone. Delicious !!! I would advise you to have a starter & main as the deserts are not worth having. I had the cheesecake which was basically a disappointing mouse. The chicken curry salad is nice but barely resembles the picture in the menu. Basically all the steaks are good,each having a different name relating to the sauce that comes with it. This is a rare Pattaya restaurant that gets a thumbs up from me. I ordered the Swedish meatballs and was very pleased with them. The mashed potatoes were bland, however, I ordered my meal to-go so I was able to improve them when I got home. This key decision took this meal from mediocre to a pleasant experience. The meal also came with sliced pickles, lingon berry sauce ans gravy. The sides were good but the gravy, while tasty, was a bit too thin. I will definitely have the meatballs to-go again. I should say, this place is not moderately priced which is probably why its always empty when I've driven by. The meal was 10.50 USD and came with 6 medium sized meatballs so not really a hearty meal. Had the been some broccoli or some other vegetable included it would have been filling. Still, I will...
