Disgraceful Experience at Insomnia Pattaya – Rude Staff, Unsafe Facilities, and Humiliating Treatment

My recent visit to Insomnia in Pattaya was hands down one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional clubbing experiences I’ve ever endured. From start to finish, the staff—particularly the security team—behaved with shocking rudeness and incompetence.

Unjust Accusations & Disrespectful Security:

Despite being born in the 1990s (well above the legal age: 25+), your security guards aggressively questioned our IDs in a demeaning manner, as though we were attempting to commit a crime. After reluctantly letting us in, their hostile glares and condescending attitudes made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. This is no way to treat paying customers.

Unsafe Lockers

The club’s locker system is a joke. We entrusted our belongings to your facility, only to find the lockers flimsy and poorly maintained. It felt like a theft waiting to happen—zero confidence in the security of personal items.

Ignored by Staff

Once inside, we were completely invisible to your waitresses. Not a single staff member approached us to take orders, despite standing near the bar for ages. It’s baffling how a venue this size could fail so spectacularly at basic customer service.

Harassed Upon Leaving

Fed up with the terrible service, we decided to leave. But instead of a simple exit, your security chased us out like criminals, shouting and gesturing rudely. This was the final straw—a humiliating end to an already ruined evening.

To conclude, Insomnia Pattaya thrives on arrogance, not hospitality. Your staff’s contempt for guests, coupled with unsafe facilities and laughable service, makes this club utterly unworthy of anyone’s time or money. We’ll be warning fellow travelers to steer clear of this toxic environment.

My recommendation to the club's Management is that PLEASE train your staff, overhaul your security protocols, and learn basic respect—until then, expect your reputation to plummet further.

An embarrassment to Pattaya’s...

One of the best places to party in pattaya. They have tables and bar stools, if you order a bottle of any spirit (the cheapest could be the song Sam) you will also get a table (if it's crowded maybe you share the table with someone). Lots of different people there, Americans, Europeans, Indians, Russians, Asians but usually no or very little amount of Thai men (the place sorts certain people out and when a Thai friend wanted to come with us inside, we had to tell the security that we demand this). The amount of women is 50+% but beware that 98+% of them are working girls. The place is safe, never saw a fight inside, drug heads are removed and if someone tries to sell you illegal stuff the police is called (actually you have to care about nothing until you leave the club). The personal is friendly but they follow certain strategies of making money. First of all there are the captains, next the standard waiters, the special waiters and the food waiters. The security and the captains are ideal to get a table, just tip them 100 THB and order a bottle of vodka or whiskey with mixers. The standard waiters take care of you, they rely on the tip but can become very active around you if they think they can get more tip from you (your choice). The food waiters sell popcorn, crab chips and Mango (sour), they are not pushing. The special waiters are beggars, they try to sell you shots (tequila roulette, ice shots, or syringes). The shots are very expensive and they try to lure you in buying them. They have the strategy to look for groups of foreigners, or foreigners that are accompanied by a working girl and they also play their role in that they drink with you. If you're drunk (and the standard waiter always asks you), the shot waiters come more often... So keep an eye on what you or your friends are doing. The music is mixed, charts, Thai, English, European... One last advice: if you come more often or you order bottles get yourself a gold member card. It reduces all prices...

The I Bar downstairs is a party lover's paradise, boasting a lively atmosphere and a great spot to unwind and enjoy a drink or two.

Upstairs, the club atmosphere at Insomnia is electric! The dance floor is always packed, and the indoor ambiance is top-notch. What's more, the prices are surprisingly affordable, making it an excellent value for money.

One tip I'd recommend is taking advantage of the membership options available. For 100 THB, you can get a lifetime membership downstairs, which comes with some fantastic perks, including discounts and points that can be redeemed for drinks or merchandise. If you're feeling fancy, you can opt for the gold membership, which grants access to the VIP area.

Insomnia also offers happy hours before 12 pm, making it an ideal time to grab a bottle and enjoy some amazing deals.

While the service can be a bit slow at times, the friendly security staff and welcoming atmosphere more than make up for it. Plus, for those looking for some extra company, there are plenty of friendly Thai women to chat with – just be sure to buy them a drink or two!

Overall, Insomnia Club Pattaya is an absolute must-visit for anyone looking for a top-notch party experience. With its unique dual-venue setup, affordable prices, and fantastic membership perks, it's the perfect spot to let loose and have an unforgettable night. And, with its late-night operating hours, the party never has to stop!
