It's hard to know where to start with Good Times Coffee House. 5 stars is almost not enough as they go so above and beyond when it comes to good service. First off the coffee is delightful, far and away the best I've had in thailand and the menu has the perfect amount of variety: great quality choices without being overwhelmed. The atmosphere is friendly and chilled out but the people are what make that and this place beats out every other in that regard. Whether you want to enjoy your coffee in peace or strike up a conversation with the friendly staff, this is the place for you. On top of all that the food is delightful. Good quality, fresh ingredients and expertly cooked to your liking. Even more so it's easy to tell that they love their work and put that love into what they make which can be hard to find no matter where you are in the world. I went into the coffee shop looking for an American still breakfast close to my hotel (Adelphi). That's where I met Umut, the owner. He was so welcoming and he introduced me to his family as well as some of the regular customers who were in the coffee shop at the time. He was so kind and understanding of my dietary restrictions and obliged me, even though my small request wasn't on the menu. The food at Good Times is good but the welcoming, friendly atmosphere and great conversations with Umut and all of the other regulars are why I went back almost every morning while I was in Pattaya.
