Helicopter Bar — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Helicopters are my favorite vehicle, so when a friend and I visited the Six, we came across a bar named Helicopter and had to check it out.

Helicopter is one of the larger bars on the Six, with really good fan and aircon facilities—which is definitely needed in Thailand. The place is bright and clean, and during prime time, there are always 20–30 girls around. When you walk in, the girls don’t pester you like at some other places, but they're quick to offer a drink and their company. They’ll even ask if you want them or another lady in particular, or if you'd just like to be left alone for a bit.

The spot has everything you need to enjoy a few hours of fun—comfy stools, big solid tables, fans, aircon, and even serviettes to wipe the heat off your noggin'! The sound system is excellent, with a mix of Thai pop/bar music and Western hip-hop/party music.

Most of the girls are a good time—they know how to party and most speak pretty good English, which can be a plus. The management team is also amazing; they take good care of you and sort out any issues or questions. There's a nice mix of international ownership and management as well.

Overall, this place is a great spot that stands out just enough from the other hallway bars along the Six.

Helicopter had me coming back again and again, and I met some cool people along the way.

For anyone reading negative reviews, just be mindful that Pattaya is a bit of a game that both vistors and the locals play, if you go in without doing your research you may get caught up in the rush of things, or if you react in a negative and non-calm way, you won't have issues addressed respectfully. Amazing bar, the best ive been on in this street and i have been living in Pattaya 6 months per year for some time now. Management is great and welcoming and also make sure that you are having a good time. Girls and staff take care of you and always have good energy and ready to have fun! Just a great experience in my opinion. But see some people here texting about girls not showing interest, promise that if you buy a drink for the girl you will see a change in that same like it is in all bars and agogos in Pattaya. Went to this bar recently at around 12am, left disappointed. Was served drink upon arrival & spoke to a few girls, but was then ignored & left alone for the remainder of my time there. Finished my drink & left after 30 mins. Ended up having more success at other bars on Soi 6 ..

Not sure what the problem was with this place though. Very beautiful ladies which drew my interest initially - but hardly any of them attended to me or were occupied with other customers as if they'd forgotten...
