Read moreI had a really disappointing experience at this Indian restaurant in Pattaya. First off, all the other restaurants I’ve visited here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner give curd as a complimentary side with Aloo Paratha, Onion Paratha, or any kind of Paratha. But at this place, they charged me 50 Baht for curd! That’s absurd because, in India, curd is always complimentary with Parathas.
Second, the food they served wasn’t even hot—it was completely cold, which is so unappetizing. Third, I was shocked to find that one plate of chapati here means just one chapati. Back in India, one plate usually means two or three chapatis. On top of that, they charged 40 Baht for a single chapati, which is roughly 100 Rupees. For context, a chapati in India costs around 10 Rupees! This pricing feels ridiculous.
The staff didn’t help either. While the cashier or order taker was polite, the rest of the staff were rude and not welcoming at all. And to top it off, the food wasn’t even tasty. With this kind of service, I don’t think I’d ever go back. They might attract customers once, but with such poor food and service, there’s no way anyone would want to visit again.
Never coming back to...
Read moreI recently dined at Spicy Twist Pattaya and was quite disappointed with the Thai Green Curry and the Basa Fish. The curry was far from authentic—lacking depth, and the flavor seemed overly diluted, missing the vibrant kick that green curry should have. The vegetables were undercooked, making it hard to enjoy the dish. Only thr traces of coconut milk was felt without the bamboo grass aroma ! The chef was requested after a protracted reminders a helper came running telling that he do not know how to cook the Thai green curry and he is just a helper and again the bone n skin is shown in the fish fry, unfortunately the cheap bassa fish served which is completely a cheating activity . Better avoid this place for Thai food
The basa fish, unfortunately, was equally disappointing. It tasted bland and watery, without the fresh texture you'd expect from good seafood. Overall, both dishes fell short of the quality I was hoping for and left me unimpressed. The saddest part is, this property has bouncers to answer any thing asked to the...
