The Good: Best philly cheesesteak I've had in 40 years! The owner makes his own bread, The cheesesteaks are juicy, heaping with meat, done the way a real Philly cheesesteak should be done, thinly shaved, quickly grilled with onions and green peppers and served steaming hot! and the prices are very reasonable, I like the basic Philly at 220 THB, about $6 USD. I add on onions and green peppers for 30 THB more for both, a little less than $1 USD more for a grand total of 250 THB about $7 USD for a huge hoagie absolutely American Philly cheesesteak style. During happy hour Leo beer 65 THB, I think about 80 thb after happy hour which currently ends early at 5:00 p.m., the time most of us vampires in Pattaya are waking up. Seriously I used to have good Philly cheesesteaks in Boston back in the '80s, I haven't had anything like these since then! A true Philly cheesesteak! Although he is offering several cheese flavors, any cheese steak man would tell you not to overpower the beefy flavor with the pepper jack, seriously though that doesn't seen traditional but everything else about his cheesesteaks are definitely the traditional Philly. (I was born and raised in Maine and I once saw someone put hot sauce in lobster bisque) Until now my favorite Philly cheesesteak place in Southeast Asia was in the Philippines but thankfully we have a good one here now. None of this British stuff putting gravy, or mustard, none of this meat that is marinated like Chinese food where it loses its texture, nope! This is a true hoagie you can pick up and eat like a man dripping with natural beefy juicy flavor as you try to keep the grilled onions and bell peppers from falling out. The bad: I really haven't got anything bad to say here except he is just opening, a nice family business but they currently have limited hours from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. I gave five stars for atmosphere but please keep in mind I'm comparing this to other open air restaurants in Pattaya, it is not air-conditioned it's not luxurious bought for the best philly cheesesteak I've had in 40 years I'm giving him five stars all around. Footnotes and location: I usually order a second one to go and heat it up in my toaster oven late at night. Surprisingly the bread doesn't get soggy even though it's a juicy sandwich. I have referred multiple American friends and one Australian, they all love the place. The easiest way to find the place is to enter Tony's fitness center gymnasium in to your GPS grab car, Bolt, etc,. It is slightly up a side street on the opposite side of the road from Tony's (Tony's is a large yellow building). From the Bht bus if you get on on soi Bacau, headed toward walking Street direction, before it turns right near TsutCom, the big electronics place, probably both spelled wrong, you can get off and walk about four blocks to Mano's for an awesome cheesesteak, the burgers look awesome too. My Thai friends like the Thai menu but it is...
Read moreMano’s isn’t your average sandwich shop — it’s a place where craftsmanship meets comfort food, and every ingredient tells a story.
The first thing you’ll notice is the bread. Baked fresh daily, it’s the perfect balance of crispy crust and soft interior, holding up beautifully under the generous fillings without ever overwhelming them. This isn’t just a vessel for the sandwich — it’s part of the experience.
Their cheesesteaks are a standout. The beef, sourced from Australia, is remarkably tender and flavorful, with a natural richness that sets it apart. It’s thinly sliced and cooked to perfection, allowing the meat’s quality to shine through. Layered on top is their handmade American cheese, which melts with a creamy smoothness that’s unlike anything you’d find in a processed slice — it’s nostalgic, but elevated.
For those who prefer a sharper edge, the provolone option is no afterthought. Imported from Italy, it brings a bold, tangy complexity that pairs beautifully with the beef. It’s an old-world touch in a thoroughly modern sandwich.
Their hamburgers are equally impressive. Juicy patties, thoughtful seasoning, and that same fresh-baked bread make each bite deeply satisfying. The ingredients are simple, but the care taken with every element elevates the final product.
What makes Mano’s special isn’t just the premium sourcing — it’s the commitment to doing things the right way. From handmaking cheese to importing the best ingredients, to baking bread every single day, this is a place where no corners are cut. You can taste it.

Read moreBest Cheesesteak sandwich I've had in Thailand at this price point. Great value! I love that you can customize it. I got mine without the bell peppers. Just steak and cheese. Perfect!
Buger sliders and chicken sandwiches were good.
Buffalo wings are OK. They are battered, which I like. But they could definitely use a bit more sauce. Looking at the pics from other reviews here, it appears that I was just unlucky.
Cheese fries were fine but a little overpriced. The menu says "homemade", which if true, would justify the price. The staff said the potatoes are out of season at the moment so they use frozen processed fries, which is understandable, but the menu should be updated and price adjusted.
Dining area is spacious and nicely laid out. I'm always a little nervous taking the family to a new place in Pattaya, but the environment here is good. The staff are actually very professional as well; they gave a menu to every one of us (not just one to share), and they repeated the order back for accuracy. They also helped us park our car out front.
We skipped ordering beers because they don't have the large ice cubes customary for Thai beer drinking, so we opted for water instead. Next time I'll bring my own ice so I can knock down some cold Leos with my cheesesteak.
Overall, great meal and great value. And they serve Heinz instead of Roza, which is a good indicator they value quality over cost haha. We will...
