McDonald's Central Marina — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Toto, this isn't Kansas anymore... When travelling in a foreign country the only reason to go to a restaurant like McDonald's is because it is cheap and it tastes like home. Unfortunately, in Thailand, McDonald's is neither cheap nor familiar. A simple cheeseburger is nearly $3 and it doesn't have the same flavor. I'm not sure if it's the meat or the condiments or the consistently dried out bread. Initially I thought the non familiar taste was due to the specific restaurant but unfortunately no. I've tried in 6 different regions, off the motorway and in urban centers. They are consistently off normal. If you're homesick for American fast food the KFC is best on both price and familiarity (original recipe). Then comes Subway. If you must have a burger then Burger King is very consistent but also more expensive. Pizza Huts are ok but definitely localized. If you are craving American style pizza then The Pizza Company is pretty good and consistent...

Took 27 mins to get 4 pieces of fried chicken made, I could have killed a chicken and fried it faster. The Xtra large fries are always half filled here, were not paying $4 for the packaging to be half filled were paying for the damn fries inside it, I finally decided to return the fries and asked the manager why do I always get these half filled? They made me new fries, wait some more. 28 mins wait is not fast food, I can be at a sit down white table cloth restaurant eating steak by 28 mins. just surprised at the lack of attention to the simple global standards here, its fast-food not sending a rocket to Mars. Super sad ... manager didn't really care to say why they can't fill Xtra large fries correctly at the least 🙄 , be prepared for disappointment, this...

Slowest McDonald's of all times in human history :) Put more workers here. The girls don't have time for breathing, yet it takes 5 minutes to order smallest thing. Sometimes nobody in cashier's region (zero cashiers for a few minutes) because they have to help order preparation. Unacceptable. There's something definitely wrong here and it's very clear sign that not enough workers preparing orders. Did you see in any place that the cashiers go help food preparation??

And one more thing: Air conditioning system is something that will give comfort to guests. Here it's set to so low temperature, you feel discomfort from cold air flowing from the ceiling. That's unnecessary power consumption and discomfort for guests. You can set it to some...
