sea zone seafood & steak restaurant . — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Management staff here is very lacking. We were seated on the rail in the back.

We weren’t very hungry and only wanted appetizers and a large local beer

When we did not order lobster and bottles of wine, the managers attitude changed dramatically.

We were trying to establish whether or not the shrimp appetizer, have shells on them. He said have shell , have shells OK OK - you eat shell no problem !

And then he kept turning our menu to the page where you order the jumbo shrimp dinner items by the kilo with no information on how much is served, how much it costs, etc. etc.

I tried to explain to him we did not want the dinner portion of boiled shrimp with heads and tails and that we’re not shelled -

He got very angry and said- I tell you three time have shell have Shell

Then, to top it off, I wanted a glass of wine…

They do not sell wine by the glass on the menu you’ll just have to order it for seven dollars US And they don’t tell you what type it is !!

Fed up - we finally just walked out…

Just do yourself a favor, go down to the Pattaya beer gardens at the beginning of walking street for a beautiful outside experience...

The thing that impress me more than anything else is the service. Don't get me wrong, the food is great. We had pipis and bbq prawns. The prawns were cooked but not over cooked. I have noticed that Thai usually under cook their prawns. The pipis were very nice in a chilli sauce. While i am enjoying my seafood. I dropped one pipi shell onto the table from my plate. I picked it up with my finger and return it to my spare plate. Not 30 seconds later, the observant waiter brought me a wet wipe to clean my hands. The food was great, the service was awesome. It's a place where i often visit for sea food. it's one of the best and fresh sea food place to enjoy sea and nature in the evening. Quality of the food is very good and price is reasonable.I like to seat over the sea with Sea food with Wine or beer. Staffs are very good and can talk fluent English which is very rare in Pattaya restaurants. Must try Place.
