I ordered Chicken with Cashew Nuts, which I’ve only ever had as the crispy fried version before — I honestly didn’t know there were different styles.
So when the dish arrived looking different from what I expected, I politely asked one of the female staff (small build, long hair tied up), “Is this chicken with cashew nuts?” — just to be sure I got the right order.
She replied, “Yes,” but in a rude and dismissive tone, with a facial expression that clearly showed annoyance. She even clicked her lips at me. That made me feel really uncomfortable.
I wasn’t being rude or causing any scene. I was just genuinely confused and asked a simple question.
The food itself was okay, not bad at all. But the service needs serious improvement, especially in staff attitude and how to respectfully communicate with customers.
I understand working in service can be exhausting, but if someone isn’t willing to provide basic courtesy or respect to customers, maybe they shouldn’t be in this line of work.
