The Palm 29 Bar, Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Pattaya City

I ordered Chicken with Cashew Nuts, which I’ve only ever had as the crispy fried version before — I honestly didn’t know there were different styles.

So when the dish arrived looking different from what I expected, I politely asked one of the female staff (small build, long hair tied up), “Is this chicken with cashew nuts?” — just to be sure I got the right order.

She replied, “Yes,” but in a rude and dismissive tone, with a facial expression that clearly showed annoyance. She even clicked her lips at me. That made me feel really uncomfortable.

I wasn’t being rude or causing any scene. I was just genuinely confused and asked a simple question.

The food itself was okay, not bad at all. But the service needs serious improvement, especially in staff attitude and how to respectfully communicate with customers.

I understand working in service can be exhausting, but if someone isn’t willing to provide basic courtesy or respect to customers, maybe they shouldn’t be in this line of work.

After being in Thailand for 40 days, this has ro be the worst restaurant I have tried. The food was ok, the coctails where without alcohol, the service was terrible. My food was already cold when I got my cuttlery and the garlic shrimps with garlic where totally without garlic and ofcourse there was no lime with them.
