By The Sea Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly, but there was complete chaos with the order fulfilment. As Nordic people, we are not used to spicy (chili) foods and asked if the selected dishes could be served without chili and the waitress confirmed from the kitchen that it could be. One of the dishes was still brought so spicy that it was impossible to eat. Fortunately, they were willing to exchange it for another dish. When an hour had passed since I ordered the dessert, I asked where it was and they promised to bring it right away and every five minutes they came to say that it would arrive right away. Half an hour later I asked to cancel it because I couldn't wait any longer and asked for the bill. Despite repeated reminders, we waited for the bill for half an hour. There were also problems at neighbouring tables - the wrong dishes were brought and some dishes were forgotten to be brought at all. The prices are of course significantly more expensive than average, as is usually the case in a hotel restaurant. The buildings on the beach that were there last year have been demolished and a new large roofed area...

Sandflies killed our experience. Everything is amazing but the sandflies just got to us. We got more than 50 bites within the one hour we spend there. But staff, food, the view is amazing.
