Chantara — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Have a villa 5 minutes away and wanted to eat here. Friday night couples everywhere and one table w kids by pool. Great music and nice drinks. Lovely pool view with sunset. Ready for romantic evening BUT music turns off! Now just quiet low music and the great vibe is gone. Seems one table w kids wanted to have a “conversation” at 8 pm. Never mind their kids played/kicked a ball during dinner or that other tables we enjoying the music not by the pool?Seems one family w kids (stay in room if you do want quiet?) gets to chose for the entire hotel what level mood music should be played at dinner. Ruined dinner and mood gone. I asked to return the music up and the lady immediately had it turned down again.… why allow 1 person/mother to choose your music for the entire hotel/guests who come for the nice experience/atmosphere/great music? In 15 years of restaurants/hotels this is a new one for me. What’s next? One woman decides we should all stop talking so she can have a quiet night for herself? My date and I left. Nicely located restaurant directly on the beach in the sand. Unfortunately neither the food, nor the service is good. You order your food via internet and wait for a very long time for your food to arrive which it does or sometimes doesn’t. Today I ordered a burger which was completely cold, beef patty was still raw and the cheese was not even melted a little bit. After asking to have it redone we had to ask again multiple times about the status since no one was taking care. After waiting and asking multiple times they brought a burger in a paper box to take away. Why, I have absolutely no clue. We then asked them to just bring the bill and take the burger off the bill which they did but not even offering a discount or a drink as excuse. Really can’t recommend this restaurant!

中国人不骗中国人，谁要是想在这个酒店的餐厅享受一顿美食，那就千万别来。我在这个酒店住了一个礼拜，因为周围实在没有选择所以每天晚上都在这里吃饭，包括情人节晚餐每个人1200/THB。平时的晚餐人均在600-800THB左右，消费不是问题，主要是服务极慢，我们没有一顿饭能够在一个半小时以内解决，要说时间尚可以理解，毕竟这么个穷乡僻壤的地方资源也有限，周围也没什么其他吃饭的地方。但是食物质量在泰国这个美食国家可以算得上是耻辱。情人节的开背黑虎虾背都开了，虾线没挑，我自己硬着头皮捡的粪；pa tai里面的粉都黏在一起；300多的汉堡上来是冷的，汉堡里面的培根是早餐剩的，cheese都没有融化，更不要提让他们重新做了汉堡又干坐了40分钟然后给我们提了个牛皮纸袋子说你刚才自己说的take away，excuse me？我们大黑天的从7：30开始等到9点，一个人还饿着，我们take away？发生错误咱们不怕，问题在于不积极解决，还在不停重复错误，气哼哼的我现在夜里九点多了，居然打开了房间里的mini...
