Nom's Family Restaurant & Bungalows — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

The main street is lined with tourist shops and restaurants, where you won’t see many locals.

I discovered this restaurant through Google Maps, where reviews are primarily written by Westerners. The restaurant is an open-air venue with free Wi-Fi. It caters to international guests, with signs in German and English, and a menu available in both English and Thai.

We were greeted warmly and seated right away. Drink orders were taken first and served promptly. Although the water was listed as 600ml on the menu but came as 300ml, it wasn’t an issue for us.

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the kitchen prepared our food spicy (Thai standard), which we loved. Given the predominantly German clientele, I’m sure they can adjust the spice level to suit anyone’s preference.

We highly recommend this place for its delicious food, welcoming staff, and overall enjoyable...

Wanted to leave a review for the restaurant as it was the best Thai food we ate in Khao Lak. The authenticity was incredible and so was the service. We were lucky to find a table as we went for dinner early at around 6:30 but it filled up quite fast and was bustling with people by 7pm. We tried the spring rolls, the flat noodles, larb moo and prawns with garlic and pepper and all the dishes...

Ich muss hier einfach 5 Sterne für Freundlichkeit und kleines Essen geben!!!!!!! Meine Verlobte und ich waren am Vorabend auf der Suche nach Rongs Bamboo tattoo studio. An seinem alten Standort trafen wir auf ein verlassenes Gebäude und waren ratlos. Nebenan: Nom‘s Kitchen… wir fragten also freundlich nach ob sie wüsste wo Rongs Studio zu finden sei. Sie zog ihr handy, ruft ihn an und schwub wurden wir von einem Tattoowierer privat abgeholt und hin gefahren… wir bedankten uns und haben uns gegenseitig gesagt das wir am folgetag hier vorbei kommen um wenigstens eine Kleinigkeit zu uns zu nehmen. Gesagt getan. Wir wurden sofort wieder erkannt und gefragt ob alles geklappt hat. Wir beschlossen uns nur eine Kleinigkeit zu uns zu nehmen da wir noch satt waren vom frühstück. Zwei Kokosnüsse und was kleines geteilt. Ihr Vater kam zu uns und erzählte stolz das die Kokosnüsse frisch aus seinem Garten seien… so schmeckten sie auch: die besten Kokosnüsse die wir in Thailand hatten - nicht zu süß und ganz jung und frisch 😍

Alles in allem ein süßer Familienbetrieb wo viele Einheimische kommen um mittags zu essen… das nächste mal in Khao lak kommen wir mit Hunger hier her 🥰😍🙏 sehr zu...
