Le Boeuf Ari – A Long-Awaited Visit with Mixed Feelings
I had been meaning to try Le Boeuf Ari for quite some time but always put it off due to the distance from my home in the city. Located near BTS Ari, the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with parking right in front—though likely insufficient if the place is fully booked.
The staff was friendly, but one of the servers spoke so softly that it was difficult to understand her, leading to a few mix-ups with our buffet orders. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it did affect our experience.
We opted for the highest-tier buffet, featuring Wagyu steak with their famous Café de Paris sauce. The sauce was fantastic—rich, fragrant, and buttery, just as expected. However, the steak itself was underwhelming. While three of us received steaks of similar size, one portion was significantly smaller and thinner. When we asked about it, the staff insisted that all steaks were weighed at 300 grams, but visually, the difference was stark.
The buffet itself was decent, with each dish served hot and seemingly prepared fresh, which was a plus. However, the variety was lacking. Another downside was the lack of regular mineral water; only premium bottled water was available at a steep price, further adding to the already high cost of the meal.
Overall, Le Boeuf Ari wasn’t a bad experience, but considering the price and inconsistencies in steak portions, I’d likely explore other steakhouses that offer similar menus at a...
Read moreWe chose the buffet course for two, you can choose one main course with any side dishes as much as you want including soups, salad, appetizers, pasta, and desserts. The fries and salad were delicious. We did try Blue mussels with white sauce which was good but not really our favorite. The main courses we had Australian wagyu and salmon, the salmon was so good I wish we could order more but the beef was on the chewy side(we came here before and the beef was perfectly cooked), the highlight was the sauce it was so delicious we ended up finishing all. We went there on the weekend and it was quite busy, will recommend to book if you want to go on the weekend. The parking was free for 2 hours in the building next door, if you are not driving you can also take BTS, it would take 5-10 minutes to walk. Overall we were very happy with everything the food was great, the service...
Read moreFirst of all, the place is named "le boeuf", so I was expecting a perfect french experience. Not bad but not quite there. Location in Ari is good and we were lucky to be able to park. The atmosphere is very french with waiters and tables properly dressed. Choices in the menu are not so large but that is probably a good thing. Level of english of the service team is very inconsistent. About the food, we ordered some soup which was great. Now the beef in itself was properly cooked BUT why would you cut it in slices and put it in a sauce we did know about when we ordered.... that is for me a major disappointment... The warming plate on the table looks good but it doesnt warm anything up... Fries are being served as much as you can eat but they are very average. I probably wont come back as I want the pleasure of cutting my steak and see the juivce...
