We booked the table 15 days in advance before going there because we wanted to sit on the top floor with a full view of Wat Arun and the river. It was super busy when we got there. The waiter took us to the top floor, straight to our table closer to the river side and it had a clear view to Wat Arun. It was 5PM and it was still sunny. The sunset was not there yet. We sat there with the sunlight on our faces and like other people there, we opened our umbrellas. We expected sunset and we were early for sunset. It was so fun that everyone hid under the umbrellas. I ordered a Jai Yen Yen blend and when they brought it out in a 2 liter bottle. The color of the drink was so beautiful and it tasted lightly sweet with a green smell of butterfly pea flowers. Our first dish was mieng yong which was dried shredded pork, peanuts and sweet roasted coconut wrapped in cha plu leaves. It was presented in a shot cup and I felt like we would have a shot of starter. I never had raw cha plu leaves before and I didn’t think that I could make them raw. The old leaves had a stronger smell and I usually used them to make fried pork wrapped in cha plu leaves or used it like other herbs to add some notes to the soup or braised dishes. It was super delicious.Everything blended together perfectly. Another recommended dishes was Yum Crispy leaf fish. Fish was crunchy, herbs smelled awesome and a little spicy. They went very well with the sweet and sour sauce. The taste was boom. We liked it very much that everytime we talked about that day, it was the first thing we remembered. Another dish we tried was Tom Khloang Pla Nue Ain Krob. My taste buds weren’t back to normal so I still couldn’t eat too much spicy food. It didn’t mean that the food was not good, it was that I had some problems. The soup was spicy but I couldn’t stop eating it. It was so good. The mushrooms were fresh and crunchy. Like other Thai dishes, they used a lot of herbs and spices to make the soup smell like heaven and easier to deliver umami taste to people. We ordered some simple dishes with rice then finished our meal with Thai tea panna cotta. It was smooth and creamy with the taste of Thai milk tea and we loved it. Last time we tried Chang beer so this time, we tried Singha beer. After the first sip, I realized Singha beer was stronger than Chang beer and the taste of beer was stronger too. Still it was not as bitter as those other beers we tried in other parts of the world. I remembered when we had a free drink in Rome, we tried beer. It was not strong and the taste was bitter. It went very well with crispy onion rings we ordered as a side dish.At 5.30 PM, we didn’t have to use the umbrellas anymore. The sun slowly went down to the horizon. A cloud covered part of the sun and the light went down to the temple like it was light from heaven. As it was getting darker, the light was on and we got to see another image of Wat Arun.We finished our dinner at 7PM as the staff reminded us when they started cleaning the roof top area. I suddenly understood why they only allowed people to be there until 7PM. It was dark there and if they turned all the lights on, we couldn’t see Wat Arun as clearly as we wanted to see.

holding up supanniga reputation with excellent authentic food & innovative platings & presentation. we were just disappointed with the sangria (not as good as supan. other branches or any of the higher end restos around. this was a one-off & would be fixed pronto! location is perfect, balcony on the riverside right across from wat arun (best seats in the house for watching sunset on chao phraya!). service is excellent as most other thai establishments. we had the best time & would highly recommend it (with res. further ahead to secure your seating). bon appétit & enjoy the view last update 3-29-2024: so we've been here for the 3rd time. all food quality & taste and service staff are pretty much consistent in its excellence, absolutely great time with confirmation from our out-of-town out-of-town guests. the only draw back worth mentioning is its sangria!!! for us, it's 3 for 3 on disappointment :( although it was addressed previously by manager. i guess we just have to write off this item as "no order" at this supanniga location! alas, we have to bring our sangria 's obsession to another place. c'est la vie then, but thank you for everything else.

Came here on a weekday for lunch and it wasn’t too crowded! When you’re here you would be greeted warmly by the staff and their multiple Michelin accolades on the sliding door 🤩 The ambience of this place is simply loveeeely! I can see why it’s so hyped. Regardless whether you’re dining indoor/out, you get a lovely view of the river and of course the magnificent Wat Arun 🤩🤩 what a BEAUTIFUL sight! Super love the full length glass windows! Of course in the sweltering heat it’s nicer to dine indoors, that’s the sensible thing to do haha 😆. The food was alright for me. Got the crabmeat curry and there were huge fat chunks of crabmeat in there, but it was much tooOoOo spicy for me and it’s a pity the spiciness level couldn’t be adjusted 🥵 Rest of the dishes we got (massaman curry with chicken, rice cracker with suuuuper spicy chilli on the side, fried crabmeat that came in actual crab shells 🦀) were great too but nothing to shout about. The one thing I really LOVED was the iced butterfly pea flower tea, it’s so fragrant and mild! 🦋💙 All in all it was a great visit, and it’s recommended to make a reservation beforehand as it can get quite packed! ☺️

Our visit to this restaurant was deeply disappointing on multiple fronts. Despite the food arriving quickly, it was served barely warm. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a noodle dish, a rice dish, a soup, and a fried appetizer. Unfortunately, none of them met our expectations. The two featured lemongrass drinks, including a martini, were unimpressive. The flavor combinations were poorly conceived and failed to deliver. Adding to the subpar experience was the excessive noise from both the music and other patrons. We were seated at a stiflingly hot table near the window, under the blazing mid-afternoon sun. The poor experience began the moment we walked in, with a cold and unwelcoming reception from the hostess. To add insult to injury, we were warned that we only had an hour and 45 minutes to dine. For a bill totaling 2,000 baht, we have found far superior dining experiences elsewhere. The restaurant inside the nearby Siam Museum, for example, offers a much warmer and more hospitable atmosphere, and the food quality is better. This restaurant's overconfidence is its downfall. Avoid it at all costs. Don't fall into the hyped bubble.

The food is fine, for the price it's not amazing but its not bad. The terrace and the view are nice. But.... The service is very poor. Really disappointing as we were excited to visit. We reserve for 8pm today. We were told the only sittings are 5.30 and 8pm when we reserved last week. We arrived a tad late, 8.10pm and were seated at a great table outside. We had our order taken at 8.45ish, food came in ten minutes...all fine. Ten minutes later, with almost the entire meal to eat still, we were brought the bill. The staff the took turns to hover over us whilst they waited for payment (+service charge) Then they switched off the music and literally started cleaning around us. Not pleasantries. Nothing. We basically received our dinner and then were being pushed to leave. Horribly uncomfortable and something we've not experienced anywhere. Food at 8.55. Bill at 9.05 Music off and pushed to leave from 9.09 If you're after a romantic evening with great view definately try any of the other places nearby and avoid this one. Ps. The Bangkok negroni was just standard negroni with a kafir leaf in it. Expect nothing special there either.
