Shocking prices and the shortest measure i have ever seen. This Bar restaurant we were taken to turned out to be not only expensive but had strange rules all a money grabbing ordeal. On entering the bar we sat down and ordered our drinks from a very expensive drinks menu, then told that everyone at the table must order a drink? I said our guide did not want anything but they insisted. Drinks arrived a signature Margarita, a Carpario Rosso which was not as advertised (cinzano)and a bottle of Mead cider. The Margarita they should stick to a classic and stop ruining drinks, the Classic Rosso Was the smallest measure ever and the mead cider was what it is. And the forced purchase of a coke which the guide took as it was the cheapest at ฿110 and wasn’t touched as it was not wanted in the first place. This bar restaurant is in my opinion an attempt at being a high class bar restaurant in a not so classy district that is just so pricy, cant review on the food but if the bar drinks are anything to go on i would be surprised if it is value for money. Around the corner is a hotel with a lovely view with very good food and a fantastic view of Wat Arun called (View Arun Hotel) Altogether the bar bill cost ฿1531 $41.63) for the 4 drinks...

The bar is very chic but has a limited selection of signature cocktails (They change their menu every 3 months by the way!). There are only four options: Somtam, coconut, longkong, and durian. I enjoyed the coconut and longkong; they are refreshing and perfect for our weather. I also tried the durian, but it was a bit too thick for me. For someone who doesn’t like durian, it was a bit challenging (but I still wanted to try).
There are many Thai liquors lined up at the bar. You can ask to try or smell them. They change their menu every 3...
Read moreA bar at the ground floor of Nusara, thai fine dining restaurant. Located right across from Wat Pho. A small bar with few seating. Menu consists of many thai inspired cocktails. Lots of local thai spirits on the menu.
The bar is beautifully decorated but rather small and noisy. If you are looking for a quiet bar to chill. This might not be the place.
The prices are high but similar to bars of this caliber in other parts...
