Drinks selection small but sufficient. Service moved at a glacial speed. The band was decent though, only thing keeping this place afloat. However, food is massive let down. Low quality ingredients at ludicrously inflated prices. Definitely lives up to its name, as this is definitely more 'Grub' served here than food.
For example, The 'fish and chips' amounted to tiny chunks of funky smelling sea bass fried to death in old oil, with cold french fries in a bath of grease. The 'pizza' was essentially a large taco, hard as a frisbee, stuck to plate, strewn with 7/11 sausage and faux 'cheese', all the texture and taste of a pencil eraser. The potato skins were shrivelled and congealed.
EDIT IN REPLY TO OWNERS RESPONSE: Interesting approach, implying a poor review is merely down to a customer enjoying leaving bad reviews. The vast majority of reviews I have left are positive and all are my honest and objective assessment. Your 1 star rating is one of only two negative reviews I reserve for genuinely...
Read moreI highly recommend this place for fans of rock music. As a rock n roll fan, I really love the aesthetic of the place. Bunch of classic and modern rock posters and decorations. When I arrived they were playing club music, but I asked them for some rock and they happily changed it! Rolling Stones, Queen, Beatles and even a few more recent bands like white stripes, strokes, jet and more played throughout the night. Such an awesome vibe!!
The drinks are VERY nicely priced, with decent variety, happy hours and ladies nights. The food is great and is priced between 200-500.
Another thing is that they do live music on the weekend. Majority rock like Beatles covers, muse, Arctic monkeys etc. best to follow their Instagram for those updates!
OH! The most important thing!! They have a lady bulldog named Coco cruising around. Be aware, she might ask for some...
Read moreThe best (the only?) thing about this place is the band that they had. They had a Beatles cover band that I enjoyed. The band had good energy, and they were fun to watch. The place does get very crowded. And I found the staff except for 1 person to be not so welcoming. But that 1 person more than made up. She was really good at customer service.
I wish the management trained the other staff as well to be a bit nicer to everyone. To make everybody feel a little bit more welcome, rather than just their friends and preferred guests.
The band was great. The food was decent but expensive. Drinks are very average but expensive.
You're paying to see the band, basically.
Even if seating is limited overall, I would recommend this place to watch The Beatles' cover band. I'm not sure about the other bands that...
