This was the most disappointing salon experience Iâve ever had. Not only did they get the color wrong, but they also damaged my scalp so badly during the bleaching process that I had severe flakingâmany with dry bloodâjust 3 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING. This wasnât a minor mistake; it was physically painful, emotionally distressing, and completely unacceptable.
This was my first time at the salon. I had always wanted to try it because of the great reviews and beautiful atmosphere, but since the pricing is quite high, I saved it for a special occasion. Since my wedding was such an important occasion, I even went in for a consultation a week before. I repeatedly emphasized that my hair was already damaged and that I wanted a dark mahogany brown with babylights, not bright or unnatural red. They reassured me they understood.
On the day of my appointment (Saturday), we spent time reconfirming the color I wanted and discussing how to minimize further damage. Once again, they reassured me they understood. During the bleaching process, I felt stinging and mentioned it, they made minor adjustments. I also noticed a lot of bleach was being used but I trusted that the salon knew what they were doing. After seven hours, I was shockedâthe color was far too bright and completely different from what we had discussed (pictured). The salon insisted it was what I had asked for, but it clearly wasnât. I was fighting back a panic attack. Since I had to travel for work the next three days and would be busy with family and final wedding preparations after that, I asked them to fix it that night. To their credit, they stayed late and adjusted the color, making it closer to what I originally wanted.
A few days later, I started noticing significant flaking, which I initially thought was dandruff. By Wednesday, it had gotten so bad that I knew something was seriously wrong (pictured). The flakes were large, and many had dry blood on them. My scalp was itchy, irritated, and felt like a very severe sunburn â but all over my head. Panicked, I booked an emergency appointment with a scalp specialist.
The specialist did a thorough scan of my scalp and was shocked by what they foundâmy scalp was all red, covered in burns and wounds, with multiple areas even bloody (pictured.). I had to get a medicated treatment to help me get through my wedding less than just 3 days away.
While the salon fixed the color, the damage to my scalp and hair was severe. My hair became so brittle it tangled just from the wind. The highlights they bleached my hair for? Barely visibleâmy wedding hairstylist didnât even notice them. Iâve been coloring my hair for over a decade, so I found it frustrating when the salon dismissed my concerns, insisting that this was âhow it was supposed to look.â
Final Thoughts
I trusted this salon with my hair before one of the biggest moments of my life, and they failed me in multiple ways. I understand that mistakes happen, but this level of damage should never occur at a professional salonâespecially one that charges premium prices. Now, I have to spend a lot of money on ongoing scalp treatments, and my hair is so damaged that I have no choice but to cut it short. I truly wanted to love this salon, but my experience was devastating. I hope this review helps others make an...
Read moreI came for 4.9 stars hair salon but had to leave 1 star myself.
I requested and insisted for men's short curly hair but leave the salon with a not neat straight yet not even wavy look without intentional setting. The first time is before shampooing. The second is before the haircut that he asked me which side I separate that I noticed that he was going to give me as straight hairstyle. That I still give him chance and explain to him and leads to no 2. below.
I have natural curls and waves but the hairdresser suggested me to straighten or perm for curls. The point is I came to this place and told him in our first conversation that I just started trying to style my natural hair without use of straightening or straightener as my surrounding people had encouraged me to. Another reason is I had quite a damaged hair from heat and chemicals that I had just gotten better a bit. So, I was very quietly upset to his suggestions as they are 1. opposite to what I want and 2. it's chemicals again and again. I still want to have the natural curly hair look as I wished so I insist to him once again that I'd take more effort the next days to have the setting. and yeah still got the result đ
I found their menu showed Men's haircut costs 750THB which is higher than many high-end barbers but I expected to feel cozy with green vibes with the comfy and full option service of a salon (many barbers don't provide shampooing). I also wanted a professional to give me the ideal look so that I can practiced and do it myself later. The reality is totally uncomfy. 1 - It is really quiet with no joyable mood from the service providers. No talking when shampoo or haircut. Just a little asking without deeply understanding from the hairdresser. 2 - The shampoo person didn't give a head massage like it should even after I told her to raise her strength. 3 - Please don't put Men's haircut if you don't have any razor blade.
I was thinking all the time during having the service that how many stars should I give. Was thinking that maybe I'm a man and this is a salon or I have quite a special hair texture that they might not experienced much? But in conclusion, I did pay 750THB expecting these things which I have already asked them so it should be rightfully for me to give the star here although that was 45 mins of the most awkwardness, uncomfyness in a long long...

Well, unfortunately, on my third visit to this salon, I was left very disappointed. I came in to trim my overgrown bangs. The stylist only needed to shorten them while keeping the original shape. Unfortunately, she didnât seem to care much about that. She barely glanced at the reference photos I showed her. Without even brushing my hair after the intense blow-dry, she simply cut off the length in one motion, completely ignoring the fact that I had layered bangs.
I tried to explain that this wasnât the result I wanted and that we could cut a bit more to achieve the desired effect. The stylist looked confused and clearly didnât know what to do. I understand that this type of bangs might not be very common in Thailand and that the stylist may not have had experience cutting themâbut it would have been very helpful to know that in advance. I would have simply chosen another salon, which is what I will do next time.
That being said, Iâd like to highlight that the staff member who washed my hair and did the styling was wonderful. She asked clarifying questions and seemed to genuinely take her work seriously.
I visited this salon twice last year and had great experiences both times, but something clearly has changedârecent reviews seem to reflect that too. And by the way, they now require a 500 THB deposit when booking a haircut, which wasnât the case last year.
Itâs a real pity, but I wonât be returning.
